UT Martin (FCS): Source tells FootballScoop Matt Jones has accepted the tackles & tight ends / run game coordinator position at UT Martin. Jones has previously coached or worked with the offensive line at Texas Southern (FCS), Jackson State (FCS - MS), Tulane, Villanova (FCS - VA) and Avila (NAIA - MO). Also, UCLA defensive analyst Dalton Hillard is joining the staff as corners coach, per source.

Northern State (D-II - SD): Per source, Northern State University has hired Lake Forest College (D-III - IL) passing game coordinator/quarterbacks coach Quinn Schafer as the new offensive coordinator.

SUNY Cortland (D-III - NY): SUNY Cortland seeks applicants for an offensive assistant (tight ends, QBss, or best fit). Responsibilities include coaching your own position, running position meetings, assisting with special teams, assisting with game planning, film breakdown, data entry (HUDL), Visio and Photoshop drawings, covering your own recruiting area, and other duties assigned by the Head Coach and Coordinators. This is an entry level position with commensurate salary, (Less than 9k) in addition to a meal card and up to 12 graduate school credits paid for annually. Position start date is as soon as the best candidate is presented. Charlotte: Zachary Alley has joined the staff as nickels coach after spending the last four seasons at Clemson as a graduate assistant coach.

Towson (FCS - MD): Towson University is immediately accepting applications for an unpaid defensive quality control coach. Responsibilities include but are not limited to, film breakdown, data entry, assisting with game preparation and other duties assigned by the head coach and defensive coordinator. Candidates should possess a working knowledge of, or be capable of learning the functions with DVSport, Excel, Microsoft Visio, and Microsoft Power Point. Position will report to Head Football Coach and Defensive Coordinator. This is an unpaid, entry level position. Anticipated candidates are individuals who are trying to begin a career in the coaching profession. This position will provide valuable experience and references for future opportunities. Fairleigh Dickinson (D-III - NJ): Fairleigh Dickinson University has an opening for an intern assistant coach position from August until May. Compensation will be between $5,000-$7,000 and 9 - 18 credits toward a Master’s degree. Many opportunities for professional development will be covered and there will be money available for the NCAA Convention. There are also opportunities to earn money out of season on campus. There is no housing, meals or benefits included. Responsibilities include but are not limited to coaching your own position, recruiting your own area (all expenses covered), academic monitoring, video, strength and conditioning and assisting the head coach in all phases of the program. LA Rams: Zac Robinson is being hired as the team's new assistant quarterbacks coach, Adam Schefter tweets. Robinson was most recently an analyst for Pro Football Focus and has served as a quarterbacks consultant as well.
