Liberty: Western Illinois (FCS) wide receivers coachMike Brown, who previously coached the running backs at Delaware (FCS) in 2017, has been hired to coach the running backs at Liberty. Also, we understand that Ron Brown has left the staff to pursue ministry opportunities.

Officially welcome Liberty to the FBS ranks, while Idaho drops to FCS

Utah: Former Nichols State (FCS - LA) head coach Charlie Stubbs is now working as an offensive analyst at Utah, per source. Stubbs previously served as the offensive coordinator at Tulsa and Louisville.

Briar Cliff (NAIA - IA): Briar Cliff is reopening its search for a defensive graduate assistant. This is a 10 month position and includes a $5000 stipend, free tuition, and meal plan. Affordable housing in the area is also available. Responsibilities include running positional meetings, assisting with special teams, helping with weekly game plan, film breakdown and data entry (HUDL), recruiting, and other duties assigned by the Head Football Coach. The ideal candidate would have a minimum 1 year coaching experience or collegiate playing experience at defensive back. Must have a minimum 2.8 GPA to enroll in the Master’s program. Candidates must be able to gain acceptance to graduate school. Review of candidates will begin immediately. If hired you must report by July 23rd.
