FAU: Lane Kiffin has completed his coaching staff with the additions of former Ole Miss defensive backs coach Jason Jones to coach the corners, and Jason Norrid is moving from offensive analyst to offensive line coach for Mike Summers, who decided to retire. As we previously shared, Glenn Spencer will serve as defensive coordinator and also coach the linebackers, former director of player development DJ McCarthy has returned to the program to serve as wide receivers coach, former South Carolina defensive line coach Lance Thompson is the new defensive line coach.

Memphis: Alan Cross, a former tight end for the program who spent three seasons in the NFL, has joined Memphis as an offensive grad assistant working with the offensive line.

USC: Assistant athletic director-recruiting and player personnel Eric Ziskin is leaving the program, per 247. Ziskin previously served in a number of roles with the program including director of football scouting, offensive and defensive administrative assistant, and student manager.

Wagner (FCS - NY): Per source, former UMass All-Conference defensive back Randall Jette has joined the staff as running backs coach.

Jacksonville University (FCS - FL): Jacksonville University is seeking qualified applicants for an assistant coaching position- the successful candidate will coach the cornerbacks. A minimum of three years’ experience coaching CB’s is required. Responsibilities include leading position group, managing a recruiting territory, and other duties assigned by the head coach. Iowa State: Malone (D-II - OH) assistant head coach / defensive line coach Eric Baumgartner has joined the staff, per source.

Gannon (D-II - PA): Gannon is looking to hire a part-time assistant coach. Pay for the position is over 12 months. This position has the flexibility to coach any position on either side of the ball. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: coaching, recruiting, team practice and scheduling. Requirements for the position include: a bachelor’s degree and working knowledge and understanding of NCAA rules and regulations. Candidates must demonstrate a history of successful recruiting to a highly selective institution; must have strong communication, leadership and organizational skills; and must have a valid driver’s license. University of Rochester (D-III - NY): The University of Rochester invites applications for a full-time 9-month (with benefits) assistant coach position. The successful candidate will coach a position, assist with film breakdown, recruiting, data entry and practice preparation, along with other duties assigned by the head coach. A Bachelor’s Degree is required. Candidates should have experience working with HUDL, Photoshop, Excel, and Power Point. Underrepresented minority candidates are encouraged to apply. BYU: Source tells FootballScoop that Blair Peterson has joined the staff as an offensive analyst. Peterson previously worked at Texas, Rice, and FIU.
