LSU: Ross Dellenger of The Advocate writes that LSU's search is focused, once again, on Jimbo Fisher. After Fisher, Dellenger says LSU still believes Tom Herman would consider their offer. Thereafter, there seems to be a number of other largely offensive minded coaches, plus Ed Orgeron in the mix. At FootballScoop we hear that Jimbo is the target; but thereafter we hear Tom Herman is not pushing for this one; but hear Brian Kelly would entertain the phone call and could ultimately wind up being the choice. Sources tell FootballScoop LSU officials are telling representatives of coaches that they want this search done within days of LSU's final game. We'll keep you posted.
Los Angeles Rams: Jeff Fisher has now tied Tom Landry for second most losses by a coach in NFL history (despite coaching 82 fewer games).

Presbyterian (FCS - SC): Head coach Harold Nichols has resigned. Nichols was the head coach of the Blue Hose since 2009.
Tom Herman: Anwar Richardson who covers Texas football for OrangeBloods reports today that "Tom Herman has multiple offers. Texas hasn't expressed same interest. If UT doesn't act soon, Herman expected to move on." For what it is worth, this is not consistent with what we at FootballScoop have heard. Tom Herman is very much in play at Texas is what sources tell us and we are told his representatives have already relayed to the powers that be at Texas what his expectations would be in terms of contract and control over the program.

The seventh win also means that Iowa will add an additional 8% to the assistant coaches salary pool for next season.
