Ole Miss: Sources confirmed to FootballScoop Sunday evening Ole Miss is taking the "interim" tag off of Matt Luke, naming him head coach of the Rebels. Update >> The Rebels have formally announced the news.

UTSA: Offensive coordinator Frank Scelfo will not return, the program has announced.

Tennessee: Sources tell FootballScoop Tennessee and Greg Schiano had an understanding of terms earlier in the day but UT is now backing out of the agreement. Greg Schiano's side, we're told, is seeking compensation in connection with breaking the agreement. This is...not normal. Update> ESPN and Yahoo are both now reporting UT has backed out of the agreement as well.

Colorado State: Defensive coordinator / linebackers coach Marty English plans to retire following their bowl game. English was in his sixth season at CSU, spent the previous nine years at Wyoming, and also had a 16 year stint at Northern Colorado.

LSU: Defensive line coach Pete Jenkins will retire at the end of LSU's season, the school has announced. This was Jenkins' third stint, and 15th overall season with the Tigers and has a long and storied career working with defensive lines at South Carolina, Oklahoma State, Florida, Mississippi State, Auburn, USC, and a host of others.

Tennessee: Jimmy Hyams, a sports talk host of WNML, described as "a flagship station of the Tennessee Vols", tweets tonight that a press conference to announce Greg Schiano was cancelled due to protests, adding, "Unsure if it will be rescheduled tomorrow or if the deal has fallen through. One prominent booster wasn't happy with Schiano hire."

Auburn: Gus Malzahn said tonight he's committed to being at Auburn in 2018. "Yeah; I'm honored to be the head coach here at Auburn," Malzahn told "Like I said (Saturday) night, we're playing for the SEC Championship and I'm excited to be the head coach here."

Mississippi State: Following Dan Mullen's departure for Florida, Mississippi State president Mark Keenum released a statement saying that they have "already begun the process of an orderly and expeditious transition to new and exciting leadership for our football program."

South Alabama: South Alabama is interested in Auburn offensive coordinator Chip Lindsey, according to a tweet from Dan Wolken.

Texas A&M: Head coach Kevin Sumlin has officially been let go. Special teams coordinator / tight ends coach Jeff Banks will serve as interim head coach. The situation as it stands between Jimbo and A&M.

Todd Graham: On how long he plans to continue coaching after being let go by Arizona State, Todd Graham shared that he'll keep coaching "until they throw dirt on me."

Arizona State: AD Ray Anderson said that despite Todd Graham's firing he would like offensive coordinator Billy Napier and defensive coordinator Phil Bennett to be retained.

Tennessee: Tennessee is finalizing a deal to make Ohio State defensive coordinator Greg Schiano the new head coach of the Vols per Dan Wolken. Sources tell FootballScoop the two sides are negotiating and we would further add Urban Meyer expects Schiano to continue as defensive coordinator through the Big Ten Championship game regardless (and likely through the playoffs if they make them as well).

Arizona State: Bruce Feldman tweeted "Am told the speculation about Kevin Sumlin and ASU being a done deal is completely false. Source has told me there has been no contact..."

Florida: Sources tell FootballScoop Scott Frost is now leaning back to the Huskers, opening the door for Dan Mullen to Florida. Why this reunion makes sense.

Tennessee: Dan Wolken has tweeted "Greg Schiano has emerged as the focus of Tennessee's search". Yesterday (and last week), we wrote Tennessee admin was very comfortable pulling the trigger on Schiano should they not get the right feel from others.

Arizona State: Steve Berkowitz tweets that if Todd Graham's assistant coaches are also terminated that the total cost of their buyouts could be "well over $2 million."

Kevin Sumlin: As of 11am, Kevin Sumlin remains Texas A&M's head coach. With that said, Billy Liucci (who covers A&M for TegAgs) tweeted this morning, "hearing Kevin Sumlin will be the next Arizona State head coach. Would be surprised if a deal isn't done in very short order."

Georgia Southern: Yesterday we reported Georgia Southern officials considered James Madison head coach Mike Houston a candidate for their opening. Today, Dan Wolken tweeted Houston is removing his name from consideration for the job. "He's focusing on FCS playoffs at the moment. Could see him pop back up for FBS jobs later," Wolken tweeted.

Arizona State:Todd Graham has been let go, the program has announced. He and his staff will remain on to coach through the Sun Devils' to-be-determined bowl game. Darren Rovell tweets that Graham is owed $11.2 million in connection with his buyout. AD Ray Anderson will hold a press conference at 3 p.m. ET to discuss the move.

Tennessee: Jon Gruden is still "very much in the mix" for the Tennessee job, with the Vols dangling a $10 million-plus salary plus an $8 million salary pool for his assistants, one of whom would be former Vols quarterback and current USC offensive coordinator Tee Martin, according to Jason La Canfora. Our report on Tennessee from yesterday.

Arkansas: Mike Leach has some influential Arkansas supporters making a push for him to come to Arkansas tweets Bruce Feldman. Yesterday we reported Tennessee is interested in Leach as well, adding Leach could end up being offered other SEC jobs as well.

Arizona State: Multiple outlets are reporting Todd Graham has been fired. Read more here including a look at the reported candidates for the job.

Utah: With their win over Colorado last night to get to bowl eligible, Steve Berkowitz tweets that Kyle Whittingham earned a bonus of $164,167. With their loss, Colorado closes out their first season without Jim Leavitt at 5-7.

LSU: Ed Orgeron stated last night he expects offensive coordinator Matt Canada to pursue head coaching opportunities this offseason. Per Ross Dellenger's tweet, Orgeron added that he hopes Canada lands one.

Rice: David Bailiff said Saturday he expects to speak with his AD regarding his status moving forward on Monday.

Western Illinois (FCS): Western Illinois University is looking to fill the position of recruiting assistant / video coordinator. This is a graduate assistant position. Responsibilities will be in the area of recruiting, graphic design, football operations, and video.
