Alabama: On rumors of Lane Kiffin taking another offensive coordinator position, like with Ed Orgeron at LSU, Nick Saban told the media today, "He hasn't mentioned it to me, and I'm sure he would if there is something out there."

Houston: The assistants following Tom Herman to Texas will not return for the Cougars' to-be-determined bowl game, ESPN's Sam Khan, Jr., reports.

Nevada: Sources confirm to FootballScoop that Nevada is parting ways with Brian Polian. The school has since announced the move. In his four seasons on the job, Polian guided the Wolf Pack to two bowl games and placed a program-record 21 players on Academic All-Mountain West teams in 2015. Polian's record in four seasons were 4-8, 7-6, 7-6, and a 5-7 finish this season while losing 15 starters to injury. “I have respected the way Coach Polian emphasized academic and life achievement among his student-athletes, and I wish Brian and Laura Polian and their family great success in the future," Nevada president Marc Johnson said in a statement. This program is set up to win in the future. Read more about the decision and the future of Nevada football here

Before he's introduced at Texas later today, Tom Herman penned a farewell letter to Houston.

Texas Tech: Athletic director Kirby Hocutt, "I believed in Kliff Kingsbury when I hired him and I believe in him today." Hocutt added there is no question Kingsbury returns as head coach.
