Denver Broncos: Head coach Vic Fangio, who was set to make his head coaching debut tonight vs. the Falcons in the Hall of Fame game, has spent a good portion of the day in a hospital in Cleveland battling a kidney stone, according to Adam Schefter. Fangio has not yet passed the stone, but is planning to fight through and will try to coach tonight, Schefter adds. Hoping this will pass soon....

Virginia Tech: Defensive coordinator Bud Foster will coach one final season for the Hokies. Details here.

Wagner (FCS - NY): Wagner College has an immediate opening for a graduate assistant (defensive assistant / video coordinator). The candidate will manage ALL video responsibilities and assist the defensive staff as directed. The position offers graduate classes (upon acceptance), meals, and potential of a small stipend. Iowa: A number of assistant coaches for Kirk Ferentz have received raises, per Hawk Central. Here's the rundown: DL coach Kelvin Bell (+$75 to $375k), WRs coach Kelton Copeland (+$45k to $300k), OC / TEs coach Brian Ferentz (+$90k to $775k), RBs coach Derrick Foster (+$50k to $250k), assistant DL coach Jay Niemann ($290k - first year on staff), QBs coach Ken O'Keefe (+$50k to $625k), DC Phil Parker (+$75k to $800k), OL coach Tim Polasek (+$35k to $390k), LBs coach Seth Wallace (+$65k to $500k), STC LeVar Woods (+$35k to $385k).

$1 million club: The strength profession is getting closer to their first $1 million coach.

LSU: Defensive line coach Dennis Johnson injured both knees playing basketball recently and is currently using a wheelchair. Johnson will spend gamedays in the booth. Former USC defensive line coach Kenechi Udeze, now an analyst at LSU, will be allowed to coach on the field via a waiver from the NCAA. In addition to Orgeron, LSU also has former player Christian LaCouture on staff (defensive grad assistant) so the Tigers' defensive linemen will still be coached up plenty.

Rhodes (D-III - TN): Per source, Sam McLain is joining his alma mater as defensive line coach after coaching last season at Millikin (D-III - IL).

Belhaven (NAIA - MS): Steve Carson has joined the Belhaven University coaching staff as the defensive coordinator source tells FootballScoop. Coach Carson previously was the head coach at Independence CC in Kansas and has a wealth of experience at every level from HS to professional football. He also worked previously with head coach Blaine McCorkle at Liberty.

Utah: Kyle Whittingham has earned a $15,000 bonus for his Utes' No. 15 preseason ranking, according to USA Today's Steve Berkowitz.

Susquehanna (D-III - PA): Susquehanna University seeks an assistant football coach working with the Wide Receivers. Preferred candidates will have prior experience playing and/or coaching at the college level. Candidates will be responsible for coaching their own position group, on the road recruiting in a specific area, film editing/breakdown (HUDL), and all other duties assigned by the head football coach. A Bachelor’s degree and valid driver’s license is required. Salary is $8,500. No housing, but some meals are included. The ability for additional income is available in the off season. Georgetown (FCS - Washington, DC): Georgetown University Football is immediately looking to fill its Volunteer Offensive Quality Control position for the upcoming season. The ideal candidate is someone that is passionate about football, hardworking, detail oriented, and a good communicator. Experience playing or coaching football is preferred. Responsibilities of the position include film breakdown, assistance in game planning, scouting reports, helping full time coaches with their responsibilities, and other duties specified by the head coach. Notre Dame College (D-II - OH):Notre Dame College is seeking an opponent for Week #1 in 2020 and 2021. We prefer a home and home contract. Any interested teams please contact head football coach Mike Jacobs at mjacobs@ndc.edu.

Kent State: Yale chief of staff Jake Olson has joined the Kent State staff as director of football operations. Olson previously worked with Kent State head coach Sean Lewis while both were at Syracuse.

Auburn: Kenny Dillingham probably won't be the SEC's youngest coordinator for long. Either the wolves will come for Gus and staff or Auburn will win and he'll become the youngest head coach in the country.

MidAmerica Nazarene (NAIA - KS): MidAmerica Nazarene has just created an operations, video specialist & recruiting graduate assistant position. The position includes stipend, full tuition for graduate courses, meals and a health benefit option. Candidates must be accepted into the MNU Graduate school. Start date will be ASAP. Liberty: Will Reid has joined Hugh Freeze’s staff at Liberty as the Director of Football Video. Reid spent the Spring at FIU. He was part of Freeze’s staff at Ole Miss as the Assistant Video Coordinator. Liberty University Football is looking for a Creative Intern to the handle day to day post production and motivational videos. Pace (D-II - NY): Per source, Pace University has hired Mike Vannucci to coach the wide receivers and special teams. Vannucci comes to Pace from Guelfi Firenze (Florence, Italy) where he has served as a player and coach.

FIU: Zach Schabbel has taken over the role of Football Video Coordinator at FIU. FIU is now in search of an assistant video coordinator to handle production. Interested candidates should send their resume and examples of their work to Zach Schabbel at zschabbe@fiu.edu
