Last Chance U: Netflix confirmed Thursday "Last Chance U" has been renewed for Season 3 and moved to Independence Community College in Kansas.

FootballScoop Q&A: Jason Brown, the new head coach of Last Chance U

Oklahoma: Per Scout, North Carolina assistant athletic director for recruiting operations and external affairs Annie Hanson is leaving for a similar position at Oklahoma, where she will have the title of executive director of recruiting for the football program. Hanson spent the past two season with UNC.

Hope (D-III - MI): Jim Caserta, who led the Holland Christian HS (MI) program the past few seasons, is now coaching the quarterbacks at Hope.

New Research: Quick Vertical Shots to Protect Base RPOs – As a 10 personnel outfit that sees mainly six-man boxes, Quabbin High School (MA) needs to continually devise ways to attack edge defenders in the RPO game. While this may be commonplace thinking, in X&O Labs clinic report Head Coach David Buchanan and OC Harrison Ingles explain how they have added the ability to attack the defender that is being assigned to make that tackle against the pass (usually a safety or corner) to their RPO arsenal. It’s their RPO concepts such as Bubble/Go, Spot/Wheel, Snag/Bubble and Spot/Seam that have helped produce the highest scoring offense in the region’s history (43.2 PPG) with WRs and QB setting multiple school and regional records. Click here to read the report.

Rochester Community and Technical College (JC - MN): Derrick Hintz, who previously served in a variety of capacities with the program including head coach, defensive coordinator, and special teams coordinator, has returned as defensive coordinator, per source. Hintz stepped down as head coach of the program back in November of 2012.
