Texas Tech: Adam Scheier has been announced as the special teams coordinator at Texas Tech. He will be Kliff Kingsbury's 10th assistant. Scheier spent 2017 as a quality control assistant at Ohio State. Additionally, Kingsbury has promoted linebackers coach Zac Spavital to co-defensive coordinator.

LSU: LSU has become the fourth program to push its assistant salary pool past the $6 million mark, but this one is different than the first three.

Florida Atlantic: It appears FAU has their new AD...familiar name to many in the business.

Arizona: Wildcats basketball coach Sean Miller just went to war with ESPN, and ESPN isn't backing down.Update> Sports Illustrated hops into; saying what ESPN asserted did not actually happen. Northwest Missouri State (D-II): College Football Hall of Fame coach Mel Tjeerdsma has announced his retirement as AD, effective April 30. Tjeerdsma has been the Bearcats' AD since 2013 after coaching the football team for 17 years.

Incarnate Word (FCS - TX): Texas A&M Commerce secondary coach Darren Garrigan has accepted the corners job at UIW sources tell FootballScoop. Garrigan spent the past four seasons at Commerce (including take home the hardware this past season as the Lions won the D-II National Championship).

Southern Miss: In addition to hiring Eric Hicks (corners) as we reported yesterday, Southern Miss is adding former UAB offensive coordinator Les Koenning to the staff reports Jason Munz. Munz adds that Nicholls State running backs coach Brock Hays will also join the staff.

Mississippi State: Source tells FootballScoop Chris Boniol has been promoted to senior special teams advisor with an increased role in scheme and personnel, working alongside Joey Jones.

Pikeville (NAIA - KY): University Of Pikeville, a NAIA School that competes in the Mid-South Conference, is seeking applications for a Defensive Coordinator. Job Responsibilities include: coordinating the defense, coaching a position, managing a recruiting area, holding group/individual position meetings, creating a day-to-day defensive preparation plan for defensive staff, working with special teams and any other areas assigned by the Head Coach. Applicants must be able to work with students and possess strong interpersonal skills. Requirements include a bachelor’s degree, prefer previous coordinating experience and 5 years of coaching. Indiana Wesleyan (NAIA): Indiana Wesleyan University is seeking a restricted earnings Running Backs coach. The position will include a stipend based on experience, in addition to free housing. ASA College Miami (JuCo - FL): "Touchdown" Eddie Brown has accepted the offensive coordinator/wide receivers coach/recruiting coordinator position, and Cornelius Bosier has accepted the defensive line. Brown was previously the head coach at Northwestern and Boyd Anderson high schools.

Franklin College (D-III - IN): Franklin College has hired Mike Wynn as an assistant special teams coach. Wynn has 29 years of coaching experience at Whiteland High School in Indiana.

Texas Wesleyan (NAIA): Graduate assistant Davonte Lee has accepted the associate head coach/co-defensive coordinator position at Ramsey High School in Birmingham.

Dickinson College (D-III - PA): Dickinson College has an immediate opening for a defensive intern (Defensive Line preferred). This is a 10-month position. Responsibilities will include coaching your own position and having your own recruiting area, along with any duties assigned by the head coach. The position will include a stipend, meals, and housing. Candidate must have experience coaching or playing at the collegiate level. Bowling Green: Source tells FootballScoop Seth Doege is adding special teams coordinator responsibilities in addition to coaching outside receivers.

South Florida: South Carolina State defensive coordinator Tommy Restivo is joining back up with Charlie Strong at South Florida reports Nathan Bond. Restivo, who coached safeties for Strong at Louisville, will reported work with safeties and special teams at USF.

Upper Iowa: Ben Curran is returning to the program as offensive coordinator / quarterbacks. Curran served in the same role at Wayne State this past season.
