Chip Kelly: Chip Kelly auditioned with FOX last week, according to Charles Robinson of Yahoo. Which role Kelly sat for is unclear. John Lynch was the network's No. 2 analyst before taking the San Francisco 49ers job earlier this offseason.

Texas: In what's been the worst kept secret in coaching, Bob Shipley will join the staff as director of high school relations. He is a former Texas high school coach, the father of former Longhorns wideouts Jordan and Jaxon Shipley, and previously served on Mack Brown's staff as an analyst.

Stonehill College (D-II - MA): Stonehill College has hired Jordan Hogan as wide receivers coach. Hogan previously coached wide receivers at Buffalo State. Additionally, alum and former captain Tim Bennett has been hired as defensive backs coach. Bennett coached defensive backs at Buena High School in Ventura, Calif., the past two seasons.

New Research: Hendrix College’s 11/10 Personnel Lateral Swing and Stretch RPOs –Hendrix College (AR) entire offensive philosophy is based off stretching the field laterally and it has done so using RB swing and stretch RPOs from 10/11 personnel groupings.Because of these concepts, Hendrix finished the 2016 season tops in the NCAA in total offense (600 ypg) and first at the Division 3 level in passing efficiency (182.6) scoring 48 points per game.In X&O Labs exclusive clinic report, offensive coordinator Jordan Neal details his swing and stretch RPO off power read and counter read run actions.According to Coach Neal, both are concepts you can build an entire offense around regardless of your talent pool.Click here to read the report.

Scoop Him Up:Darryl Gill, an experienced football coach who is looking to get into coaching fulltime. Darryl has been coaching since his playing career at Akron was over in 1988. Has many years of experience on the HS level and some on the college level at Case Western Reserve University on Pete Germano's staff as the RB coach. He understands the importance of recruiting and player/coach relationships and will bring energy to the program. Valdosta State (D-II - GA): Per source, linebackers coach Danny Verpaele has been promoted to defensive coordinator. He coached previously at Army, Mississippi State and at Jacksonville University.

UNLV: The University of Nevada, Las Vegas football program is seeking applicants for the position of Offensive Graduate Assistant (O-Line). Applicants with Offensive Line coaching and/or playing experience are preferred. Applicants must be able to gain acceptance into a graduate program offered at UNLV. Tuition, books, fees and insurance are paid for by the applicant out of their stipend. Housing and meals are not included. Idaho: Luther Elliss has been named the Vandals' defensive line coach. A former NFL player, Elliss has two sons who are currently Vandals linebackers.

Independence CC (KS): Independence Community College which plays in the Jayhawk Conference which competes in the NJCAA, is seeking applicants for an offensive assistant position (Slot Receivers). Applicants must be self-motivated and detail oriented. Coaches with passion and great work ethic will be considered first. There is no compensation at this time, but the job does include free housing and meals, along with a great opportunity to coach at the College level, to recruit an area, and coach a position group. Job duties include coaching your own position, practice planning, scouting, video breakdown, skill and team instruction, all phases of recruiting and all other responsibilities assigned by the head coach. DVSPORT or XO’s film experience will be a huge plus! Wide Receiver coaching and/or playing experience preferred. Indiana: The Hooisers will hire Syracuse running backs coach Mike Hart as their new running backs coach, multiple outlets are reporting and FootballScoop can confirm. Hart replaces Deland McCullough, who left for the same post at USC.

Eastern Illinois: EIU has hired Keith Uperesa as offensive line coach and Ethan Hutson as tight ends coach. Micah Smith will make room for Hutson by moving from tight ends to wide receivers. Uperesa arrives from Hawaii, where he served as director of player personnel, but owns pervious o-line experience at UNLV, Utah and USC. Hutson spent last season as the offensive line coach at South Dakota School of Mines.

Baylor: Former 49ers wide receivers coach Bob Bicknell is expected to take the same job on Matt Rhule's staff, per Alex Marvez.

West Alabama (D-II): Steve Sisa has been announced as the new defensive coordinator for the program after spending last season as the co-defensive coordinator at Arkansas Tech. We first reported the move a few weeks back.

NC State: Nathan Burton, who served as the defensive coordinator at West Alabama (D-II) last season, has joined the NC State staff.

Auburn: Scott Fountain, who previously coached the tight ends / special teams for Auburn, is looking for an on-field coaching job somewhere else, Gus Malzahn recently noted, but also has the opportunity to stay at Auburn in an analyst role.

Indiana Wesleyan (NAIA - IN): Indiana Wesleyan is looking to hire a restricted earnings Wide Receiver coach. Seeking someone that embodies the Christian mission at IWU, and who has experience playing or coaching the position. Along with a stipend, housing and a meal plan will be provided. Allan Hancock College (JC - CA): Allan Hancock College, located in Santa Maria, CA has an opening for an offensive skill position. This is a stipend position that will pay $4,000 per semester.
