Oregon: Mario Cristobal has announced a number of promotions on his staff.Offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach MarcusArroyo has added the title of assistant head coach, safeties coach Keith Heyward has added co-defensive coordinator duties and associate head coach/defensive line coach JoeSalave'a will now also serve as co-defensive coordinator/run game coordinator for the defense. Salave’a and Heyward will work in concert with defensive coordinator Jim Leavitt

New England Patriots: Field Yates tweets that former Arkansas and Wisconsin head coach Bret Bielema has continue to work with the Patriots after the draft and to "look for him to be involved with coaching duties as the team begins its rookie minicamp tomorrow." We'll keep you posted.

Memphis (Alliance of American Football): Mike Singletary, who had recently accepted a head coaching job at a small private high school named Trinity Christian (Addison, TX), has been named head coach of the new AAFL team in Memphis.

Arizona State: Herm Edwards has named former Arizona State defensive coordinator Al Luginbill director of player personnel for the program. In addition to his time at Arizona State (1972-73, and 1979-84), Luginbill previously worked in athletic administration at San Diego State, and served as head coach with the Amsterdam Admirals (NFL Europe) and LA Xtreme (XFL) and Detroit Fury (AFL).

Northwestern College (NAIA - IA): Northwestern College is seeking applicants for an offensive graduate assistant to work with the offensive line. The position is a 10-month appointment (August to May) and is renewable for up to 3 years. Position will report to the head football coach and will be responsible for coaching the position group and assisting the head coach in all areas of the program. Washington: Co-defensive coordinator Jimmy Lake has signed a 3-year deal worth $1.1 million annually, making him the highest-paid assistant in Huskies history and the second highest-paid assistant in the Pac-12, as detailed Adam Jude of the Seattle Times. Houston Texans: The Texans are hiring CJ Leak away from the Saints as their assistant director of pro scouting, per John McClain. Leak spent the past two seasons with New Orleans and also spent eight seasons with the Bills.

Kansas City Chiefs: The Chiefs have made an number of front office moves, as highlighted by Adam Caplan. Ryne Nutt will be the director of college scouting, Chris Shea has been elevated to footballl operations counsel and personnel executive, and Ryan Poles has been elevated to assistant director of player personnel. Also, Mike Bradway has joined the staff as assistant director of player personnel, Trey Koziol will work as a national scout, Jason Lamb has been promoted to college and pro scout, and Rob Francois' new role is a national football scout.

Occidental (D-III - Los Angeles, CA): Occidental College has two seasonal openings for part-time coaches. One position group is SS/OLB and the other is QB/Offensive skill with option offense experience. Pay range is $5,000 to $7,500 from August 1 to December 15. No benefits, meals, or housing is included. Duties include coaching a position, practice prep, video input, recruiting, and other duties assigned by head coach. Northwestern State (FCS - LA): NSU is currently seeking a VIDEO Graduate Assistant. Job Description: Reporting to the Head Football Coach & Video Coordinator. The individual in this position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties: Videotaping of all practices and home/away games. Providing video needs for game analysis, scouting, and instructional training purposes. Editing and breakdown of practice and game videos to coaching staff specifications (i.e. separation of offense and defense possessions, assigning data to each play, etc.). Fully utilizing capabilities of HUDL and other applicable software to produce video needs. Ensuring that all video equipment is properly maintained, repaired, and functioning. Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree and two years of experience with HUDL video software and equipment. Technical knowledge and skill in the use of video technology and equipment including digital editing, production and post-production editing, graphics, and photo software. Understanding of the sport of football and football terminology in order to video tape and edit correct footage and game situations.
