Please join us in praying for the family of Mesa CC (JC - AZ) assistant Benjamin McIvor, who died after hitting his head during a brief altercation over the weekend. McIVor was also previously the head coach at Glendale HS (AZ) for six seasons.

Les Miles: According to the Montgomery Advertiser, Les Miles will not go into broadcasting after all. The hangup? Miles didn't like being cesnored, adding on his try out with Fox Sports, "It's a struggle when you haven't had a censor button on the sidelines. You quickly find out I gave it the old college try, but it's not going to happen."

Arkansas Tech (D-II): Arkansas Tech University has an opening for a graduate assistant coaching position on Defense. The position includes 6 hours of Tuition per semester and a $6,000 stipend per year. The job’s responsibilities include coaching a position, handling a recruiting area, film breakdown (Hudl) and other duties assigned by the Head Football Coach. Nebraska Kearney (D-II): Per source, Creighton Reed has been hired as an offensive graduate assistant working with the wide receivers after spending the last two years in a student assistant role.

Texas Tech: Per source, former North Texas safeties coach Perry Carter has joined the staff as a coaches assistant / analyst. Perry also previously coached as the assistant defensive backs coach with the Houston Texans.

West Georgia (D-II): Thomas Baltrus has joined the staff as running backs coach, source tells FootballScoop. Baltrus was previously the wide receivers graduate assistant at Valdosta State (D-II - GA).

Maine Maritime (D-III): Maine Maritime currently has a coaching intern position available. The successful candidate will be a college graduate and possess previous college playing and/or coaching experience. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting in practice and game planning, video breakdown and analysis with DVSport and Hudl, recruiting, academic oversight, and coaching their own position group. There are openings on both offense and defense. Compensation includes an hourly wage and housing. William Penn (NAIA - IA): William Penn University is seeking applicants for the position of Defensive Assistant.
