Our thoughts & prayers are with the Stetson football program following the death of 19 year old sophomore linebacker Nick Blakely who collapsed on the sideline at practice yesterday and has died.

Hurricane Harvey: UTSA-Houston (to be played in San Antonio) has been canceled for this weekend with a possible reschedule down the line, while Texas State's home date with Houston Baptist will be played as scheduled on Saturday evening.

Fox Sports: In addition to Danny Kanell, Fox has announced it has hired Les Miles and Mark Helfrich as game analysts.

Hamilton Tiger-Cats: Team caretaker Bob Young issued a statement Tuesday apologizing for the club's brief hiring of Art Briles.

Arkansas State head coach Blake Anderson's wife Wendy underwent surgery yesterday related to her breast cancer. Continued prayers are appreciated. More information here on Wendy's treatment. 

Arkansas-Pine Bluff (FCS): Bill Ross, who was the special teams coordinator / linebackers coach at Foley HS (AL), is now coaching the linebackers at UAPB.
