Kansas: Clint Bowen has been retained as safeties coach and Tony Hull will remain running backs coach. The 2019 season will be Bowen's 24th year in the program and 21st on the coaching staff; Les Miles will be the fifth different KU head coach he's worked for.
San Diego Mesa (JC - CA): Gary Watkins, who has served as the interim head coach, has had the interim tag removed and will lead the program moving forward.
Atlanta Falcons: Owner Arthur Blank has given a vote of confidence to head coach Dan Quinn and GM Thomas Dimitroff; however Tom Pelissero says there is a "strong possibility" of significant changes coming to the staff. Have a look...
Denver Broncos: Head coach Vance Joseph will finish out the season with the team, and should the front office decide on a change former Broncos and Redskins head coach Mike Shanahan will not be among the candidates considered during a head coaching search, per Mike Klis.
Louisville: Stu Holt will follow Scott Satterfield from App State to Louisville as tight ends/special teams coach, tweets Dan Wolken. We can confirm the hire. Also, the additions of Dwayne Ledford as offensive coordinator / offensive line coach has now formally been announced. Ledfored previously served as offensive line coach and run game coordinator at NC State.
Miami: Mark Richt shares that Ephraim Banda will call the defensive plays on game day. Banda was recently promoted to co-defensive coordinator, a title he shares with Jonathan Patke.
Offensive coordinator of the year: Prior winners of the award have selected Mike Locksley the 2018 Offensive Coordinator of the Year presented by AstroTurf.
University of San Diego (FCS): USD intends to post the offensive line job on their website in the coming days. Interested applicants must apply online we are told.
South Carolina: Head coach Will Muschamp, OC / WRs coach Bryan McClendon, DC / DBs coach Travaris Robinson and quarterbacks coach Dan Werner have all had contract extensions and raises approved by the board of trustees today, per The Post and Courier. Muschamp's deal was extended for one year with a raise of $200k that was in his current contract, McClendon was extended through 2021 and got a salary bump to $1 million per year in his new deal, Robinson was also extended through 2021 and will make $1.2 per and Werner's contract was extended through 2020 and received a salary bump to $700k annually.
Tennessee-Chattanooga (FCS): Among the candidates for the open head coaching job are Georgia State ILBs coach / recruiting coordinator Rusty Wright, Louisiana Tech running backs coach Tony Ball, Furman offensive coordinator George Quarles, and Coastal Carolina offensive coordinator Jamey Chadwell, per Stephen Hargis who adds that the process could be wrapped up by this weekend. Bruce Feldman adds that former USC offensive coordinator Tee Martin and Arkansas State assistant head coach / corners coach Trooper Taylor are also in the mix.
Utah State: Frank Maile, who served as co-defensive coordinator and defensive line coach for the program the past three seasons, will remain on staff as assistant head coach and tight ends coach with Gary Andersen. Andersen has announced he will coach the defensive line himself.

Scoop'Em Up: Tony Shiffman, the co-creator of the popular #HogFBChat on Twitter, is the head coach at Fort Madison HS (IA) and is looking to explore assistant coaching opportunities at the NAIA and Division III level. Shiffman took over a Fort Maidson that went 7-42 in the years prior to his arrival, and by year two he's already matched that seven-win total. He holds a Master's degree in Education and teaching certification in four states. His references include Tennessee's Joe Osovet, Williams & Mary (FCS) offensive coordinator Brennan Marion, and Jacksonville HS (IL) head coach Mark Grounds, among others. Navarro (JC - TX): Head coach Jim Gush has resigned after leading the program for one season. Navarro finished 6-5 in 2018.
UMass: Per source, San Diego (FCS - CA) offensive line coach / co-offensive coordinator Jim Jackson has accepted the offensive line job at UMass.
Dodge City (JC - KS): Dodge City Community College is looking for a full-time defensive backs coach. Salary is $34k and benefits are provided. Please send a resume to: firstname.lastname@example.org if interested.
Georgia: Three of Kirby Smart's assistant coaches had their contracts extended last off season with "reworked three year deals,' Online Athens notes. Quarterbacks coach James Coley, running backs coach Dell McGee and Mel Tucker (who recently left to become the head coach at Colorado) worked this season with contracts that run through June 30, 2021. McGee is making $550k this season and added the title of assistant head coach heading into the season, annd will make $625k in 2019 and 2020. James Coley got a $400k pay bump to $850k with the addition of his co-offensive coordinator title. Also, defensive line coach Tray Scott received a one-year extension through June 2020.
Utah State: Assistant coach Stacy Collins is being retained by Gary Anderson and will serve as special teams coordinator and running backs coach. Collins, who coached inside linebackers this season, previously served as the Aggies special teams coordinator during the 2016 season.
Clarion (D-II - PA): Per source, former Seton Hill (D-II - PA) offensive coordinator Charles Eger is the new offensive coordinator at Clarion.
Minot State (D-II – ND): Minot State University is seeking a defensive graduate assistant coach, working with the linebackers. The successful candidate will coach his own position, run positional meetings, assist with special teams, contribute to the weekly game plan and have his own recruiting area. Must behard working, passionate, extremely motivated and accepted into graduate school (3.0 minimum GPA). Compensation package includes a $5,000 stipend, camp bonus and tuition waiver. Review of candidates will begin immediately and consideration will be given to those that can interview at the AFCA Convention.
