Houston: Former Oklahoma wide receiver Malcolm Kelly has joined the staff as an offensive graduate assistant.

Ohio State: The Buckeyes have announced that Greg Schiano will serve as the "sole defensive coordinator" for the program. Urban Meyer previously stated that corners coach / special teams coordinator Kerry Coombs would have an increased role with the Buckeyes.

New York Jets: La'Roi Glover has joined the staff as assistant defensive line coach. Glover, a former NFL veteran offensive lineman, previously worked as a director of player engagement for the Rams for seven seasons.

Kent State: As we reported yesterday, former UCLA, South Florida and Cincinnati defensive coordinator Joe Tresey has been named cornerbacks coach at Kent State.

Tennessee: FIU wide receivers coach Kevin Beard is joining the Tennessee staff as wide receivers coach, per multiple reports. Last Friday, we reported Beard was a strong candidate for the opening on Butch Jones' staff.

Glendale College (JC - CA): Per source, former Whittier College (D-III - CA), Compton College (JC - CA), and East LA College (JC - CA) line coach Raul Solis has joined the staff as defensive line coach.

Running the clock after first downs? Re-starting the clock after incomplete passes? Those timing changes could be on the table as FBS efforts to shorten game times.

William & Mary (FCS - VA): Offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach Kevin Rogers has announced his resignation. Rogers has been coaching college football since the late 70's at places like Ohio State, Navy, Syracuse, Notre Dame, Virginia Tech, Boston College, and Temple, and also served as Brett Favre's quarterbacks coach with the Vikings, where he spent six seasons (2006-2011).

Auburn: Cole Weeks has joined the staff as an offensive graduate assistant. Weeks played quarterback for offensive coordinator Chip Lindsey at Southern Miss.

Wake Forest: Wake Forest has a recruiting position available that will begin as soon as possible. The position will be responsible for coordinating all official and unofficial visits. Experience working in a Division 1 football recruiting office is preferred. Central Washington (D-II): Mike Peck, the former offensive coordinator at Battle Ground HS (WA), has joined the staff as wide receivers coach sources tell FootballScoop.

Northwestern State (FCS - LA): Northeastern Oklahoma A&M (JC) offensive line coachJeff Bowen is the new offensive line coach at Northwestern State.

Northeastern Oklahoma A&M (JC): The offensive line job is open.

Hamline (D-III - MN): Hamline University, an NCAA Division III institution in the heart of the Twin Cities, is seeking applicants for the position of recruiting coordinator/offensive line coach. Preference will be given to candidates with a successful history of collegiate recruiting and a strong background in offensive line play. The selected individual will take a lead role in all phases of recruiting, including personnel evaluation, social media messaging and monitoring progress toward the program's recruiting goals. Utah State: Mark Tommerdahl has been announced as special teams coordinator and running backs coach. He spent the past four years at California as assistant head coach and special teams coordinator while coaching tight ends, fullbacks and wide receivers. Additionally, offensive coordinator David Yost will coach quarterbacks, Luke Wells will handle inside receivers and tight ends, Jovon Bouknight will coach outside receivers, and Stacy Collins will switch to linebackers. 

Oregon: Per source, Raymond Woodie has been promoted to outside linebackers coach and special teams coordinator. Defensive coordinator Jim Leavitt will handle inside linebackers.

Mississippi State: In case you missed it, Dan Mullen will be paid $4.5 million next year on a new contract running through the 2020 season.

Alderson Broaddus (D-II - WV): Alderson Broaddus University has an immediate opening for a full time offensive line coach. Preference will be given to candidates with at least two years of coaching experience. Applications will be reviewed immediately upon arrival and continue until the position is filled. Southwest Minnesota State (D-II): Southwest Minnesota State University is looking for a graduate assistant running backs coach in an offense that has produced an all-conference RB 4 of the last 5 years. Qualifications include acceptance into graduate school (3.0 minimum GPA), enrolled in a minimum of six credits per semester, and meet the MnSCU vehicle driving qualifications. Coaching/Playing experience preferred. Compensation package includes $8,000/year and Full-Tuition waiver. Review of candidates will begin immediately and continue until filled.
