Alabama: The Tide are expected to promote co-defensive coordinator / linebackers coach Tosh Lupoi to defensive coordinator, Matt Zenitz tweets.

Michigan: Former Florida head coach Jim McElwain was on campus today, and "the belief," according to a tweet from Brandon Justice, is that he would come in and replace Dan Enos, who originally joined the staff to coach the wide receivers before leaving to join the Alabama staff.

New England Patriots: Josh McDaniels, who had agreed to terms to become the new head coach of the Colts earlier today, has reversed course and opted to remain in New England, Adam Schefter tweets. Schefty adds that Pats owner Robert Kraft "sweetened" up his contract, which helped to entice McDaniels to stay. Wake Forest: Source tells FootballScoop Harvard special teams coordinator / defensive backs Ryan Crawford is expected to join the Wake Forest staff coaching corners and assisting with special teams.

Carolina Panthers: Interim general manager Marty Hurney has been placed on paid leave while the NFL investigates him under the league's personal conduct policy reports Joseph Person. The Panthers notified the league that Hurney's ex-wife filed for a protective order Friday. The judge who heard the complaint said there was no evidence Hurney had committed acts of domestic violence.

Saskatchewan Roughriders (CFL): Former IMG football director of football Steve Walsh has joined the Roughriders as quarterbacks coach. Walsh assisted Marc Trestman with the Toronto Argos in 2017.

Michigan: University of San Diego offensive coordinator Tanner Engstrand is joining the Michigan staff as an offensive analyst source tells FootballScoop. Adam Rittenberg is reporting the same. Engstrand was a Finalist for FCS Coordinator of the Year.

USC: Clay Helton has received an extension through 2023.

Detroit Lions: Boston College defensive line coach (and former Syracuse and UConn head man) Paul Pasqualoni will join Matt Patricia's staff, according to multiple reports.

New Mexico State: New Mexico State is looking for a defensive backs GA. Please send your resume to DFO Ryan Robinson at

Oklahoma Panhandle State (D-II): OPSU does not have an open offensive coordinator job. Head coach Russell Gaskamp plans to restructure the staff internally.

Shorter (D-II - GA): Per source, Murray State DFO Drew Burnham has joined the Shorter staff as wide receivers coach.

Loras (D-III - IA): Wes Fleming has been hired as defensive backs coach. He was previously a GA at Kansas Wesleyan.

Pittsburgh Steelers: The Steelers have hired Blaine Stewart as a coaching assistant. Stewart is the son of the late West Virginia head coach Bill Stewart; Stewart gave Mike Tomlin his first coaching job at VMI as wide receivers coach in 1995.

Tennessee Titans: The Titans have announced Terrell Williams as defensive line coach, Tony Dews as running backs coach, and Keith Carter as offensive line coach. Steve Watterson will remain on as strength coach. Williams was most recently the defensive line coach for the Miami Dolphins, Carter with the Atlanta Falcons, and Dews was the running backs coach at West Virginia.

Trinity International (NAIA - IL): Oklahoma Panhandle (NAIA) offensive coordinator / wide receivers coach Buddy Blevins has accepted the offensive coordinator position at Trinity International, source tells FootballScoop.

New England Patriots: Adam Schefter tweets that Patriots wide receivers coach Chad O'Shea is in play to become the team's new offensive coordinator.

Indianapolis Colts: Patriots assistant quarterbacks coach Jerry Schuplinski is expected to join Josh McDaniels' staff. Adam Schefter tweets.

LSU: Southeastern Louisiana (FCS) linebackers / special teams coordinator Aaron Schwanz is expected to join the LSU staff source tells FootballScoop. We expect Schwanz' role to be as an analyst.

Indianapolis Colts: The Colts have announced that they've agreed to terms with Josh McDaniels as their new head coach. Albert Breer tweets that the Colts alos have contracts in place for defensive coordinator Matt Eberflus, offensive line coach Dave DeGuglielmo and defensive line coach Mike Phair. Read more here.

TCU: Per source, Mountain Pointe (AZ) defensive coordinator Brian Hernandez is joining the staff as a defensive analyst. Prior o joining the Mountain Pointe staff, Hernandez was the offensive coordinator at Pima Community college (JC - AZ).

Wisconsin: The board of regents will meet later this week and on the agenda is "amended compensation agreements" for head coach Paul Chryst, offensive coordinator Joe Rudolph and defensive coordinator Jim Leonhard, per a tweet from Jeff Potrykus.

John Carroll (D-III - OH): Joe Schaefer is joining the staff as defensive coordinator. Schaefer worked as the director of scouting at Iowa State last season and prior to that was the head coach at Benedictine HS (OH), where he led the program to a state title in 2014.

San Jose State: Aric Williams, who spent the last few seasons at Idaho as the defensive backs coach, has been announced as the team's new corners coach.

Buffalo: Per source, Marietta College (D-III - OH) defensive backs James Daniels has accepted a defensive grad assistant job working with the defensive backs.

Trinity International (NAIA - IL): El Dorado HS (NV) defensive coordinator Evan Nunez has been hired to coach the safeties, per source.

Maricopa Community Colleges (AZ): The Maricopa Community College District, which covers ten community colleges in Arizona, is eliminating football after the 2018 season according to ArizonaVarsity. This would affect Phoenix, Mesa, Scottsdale, and Glendale community colleges.
