Pearl River (CC - MS): The school has announced that Ted Egger will serve as interim head coach for the season. Egger joined the staff last season, serving as defensive coordinator. Prior to joining the staff, Egger coached at Concordia (MN), Northwood, Ferris State, Adams State, TLU and Lock Haven.

Georgia: Defensive line coach Tray Scott's two year contract ($400,000 per) included a $65,000 signing bonus reports Marc Weiszer who adds that the one-time lump sum payment was "presumably to cover a buyout".

Michigan: AD Warde Manuel estimates the cost of Michigan's trip to Italy will come in around $6,000 per person on the trip...totaling approximately $800,000. Manuel adds that the cost is being paid for by an individual donor.

Louisiana Monroe: Delta State defensive grad assistant Zach Muller has joined the ULM staff in the same capacity, source tells FootballScoop.

Guarantee Games: The University of Georgia is paying Middle Tennessee $1.7 million to come to Athens this season. They are paying Austin Peay (FCS) $500,000 as well. UMass which is also coming to Athens will receive $1.5 million and the two programs are also trading a home and home in basketball with UGA heading north this season and UMass coming south in 2018. Arizona State: Anne Ryman is reporting that ASU will not extend Todd Graham's contract by one year, as it had done in years past (had been extended in '13, '14, '15 & '16). This means Graham will have three years left on his contract after this season.

San Francisco 49ers: The Niners have announced the eight members that will coach with the team through training camp as part of the Bill Walsh Minority Fellowship Program, and they are; Katie Sowers, former NFL players Nick Ferguson (DBs), Corey Ivy (DBs), Jerod Johnson (QBs), Rodrique Wright (DL), and San Jose State running backs coach Alonzo Carter (RBs), Rony Siperda (strength), and Laney College assistant Donald White (LBs).

Northern Arizona (FCS): Truman State (D-II - MO) offensive graduate assistant Louie Ramirez hasjoined the Northern Arizona staff in an off-the-field role in recruiting. Ramirez spent the last two seasons working with the running backs at Truman State.

University of Washington: Director of Football Video Nick Irving is stepping down to pursue other opportunities outside of football. A national search is currently underway. A bachelor’s degree with 4-5 years of experience in professional or collegiate sports video production/editing as well as networking IT systems are required. Manchester (D-III - IN): Manchester is looking to hire an entry-level offensive assistant. The position includes a meal plan and health benefits. Chosen candidate will also teach up to 2 credits in ESAT department as needed and other duties as assigned by the head coach. Review of applications begins immediately and will continue until the position is filled. Oklahoma State: Mike Gundy has signed a new five year contract that automatically rolls over every year (subject to approval of the Board of Regents). His new salary is $4.2 million with a $125,000 annual escalator.

Michigan State: Offensive line coach Mark Staten has added the assistant head coach title and former Lions' personnel man Sheldon White has been been promoted to director of player personnel. White joined the staff last year as a consultant.

Washington Redskins: The Redskins have promoted Doug Williams to senior vice president of player personnel. Eric Schaffer has been promoted to vice president of football operations.

Chattanooga (FCS): Athletic director David Blackburn is expected to resign "as early as today" reports Gene Henley of the Times Free Press. Henley reports the move is not discipline related. The long-time UT athletic administrator has served as AD at UTC the past four years.

North Carolina: Defensive assistant Tony Gilbert is participating in a Bill Walsh Minority Fellowship with the Minnesota Vikings, source tells FootballScoop.

Loras (D-III - IA): Loras College has an IMMEDIATE opening for a defensive backs coach. This is a full-time, 12-month position. Chosen candidate performs coaching and management activities, including recruitment of student-athletes in a NCAA--Division III intercollegiate football program. This position reports to the Head Coach and Defensive Coordinator. One-Two years related experience at the college level preferred. All applicants need to apply online via this link. Mary Hardin-Baylor (D-III - TX): The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor is seeking applications for two graduate assistant positions. The first position will assist with wide receivers. The second position will be responsible for tight ends. Previous experience with TE's, OL, or WR a plus. Both positions include tuition reimbursement and a monthly stipend.
