North Texas: Seth Littrell will earn a $900,000 base salary on a new 5-year deal he signed earlier this month, according to Brett Vito of the Denton Record-Chronicle. He was also paid a $36,000 signing bonus. Littrell led the Mean Green to a 5-8 mark in his first season on the job after taking over a 1-11 club.

Texas State: Gardner Webb defensive line coach Issac Mooring is expected to join the staff at Texas State in the same capacity once all necessary steps are completed, source tells FootballScoop.

ESPN: Desmond Howard has signed a multi-year deal to remain on College GameDay.

Middle Tennessee: Long-time MTSU defensive assistant David Bibee has resigned. Bibee, who coached the safeties the past nine seasons in Murfreesboro, had moved to linebackers in February. MTSU states the linebackers position is now open.

Michigan State: Director of college advancement Curtis Blackwell's contract will not be renewed beyond tomorrow a school spokesman announced this morning. Blackwell has been suspended by athletic director Mark Hollis since February in connection with several serious "allegations regarding your conduct" related to the ongoing sexual assault investigation involving three players.

Texas State: Source tells FootballScoop Victor Irokansi has joined the Texas State staff as defensive line grad assistant. Irokansi had joined the Eastern Illinois staff in January (as defensive grad assistant) following his playing career & student assisting at Oklahoma State.

Ithaca (D-III - NY): Head coach Dan Swanstrom has finalized his staff as follows: Mike Toerper defensive coordinator (former special teams / DB at Johns Hopkins), Reece Petty receivers coach (former GA at Iowa State and Buffalo), Sean Reeder offensive line coach (former OL at Wayne State), Brody Trahan linebackers (former defensive GA/Quality Control Baylor) and Tyler Williams defensive line remains on staff.

Chattanooga: UTC head coach Tom Arth has now announced (what we reported two weeks ago) the hire of East Carolina offensive quality control Chris Cook as new tackles / tight ends coach.

Tennessee: Florida State director of football communications Zach Stipe has accepted the football SID role at Tennessee per Jimmy Hyams.

Western Carolina: Source tells FootballScoop DFO Dan Gibson is being promoted within the athletic department. We hear the DFO role is open.
