Georgia: Kirby Smart has ramped Georgia's already tough scheduling up to All-Madden mode. This leads us to ask if the Bulldogs' head coach is smart or simply insane.
New York Giants: Brendan Prophett, who most recently served as a pro scouting director for the Lions, is joining the Giants organization, likely in an area scout role according to Neil Stratton. Prophett also previously held positions with the Saints and Jets.
NFL: The NFL announced Tuesday it will open a training academy in London. Details here.

Indiana State (FCS): Indiana State is looking to hire an offensive graduate assistant. Must be accepted into Indiana State graduate school. Must be enrolled in 9 credit hours for the semester. The position includes a small amount of meals and $800 stipend for 10 months of the year. Tuition, books and housing are NOT included. New Hampshire (FCS): The University of New Hampshire is looking to fill up to 2 quality control positions. Responsibilities will include film breakdown, assisting coaches with practice and game prep, recruiting organization, and assist with day-to-day football operations. VMI (FCS): VMI is currently accepting applications for two unpaid volunteer coaches (one offensive and one defensive) to begin NLT August 2019. We are seeking candidates who are looking to gain experience working within a Division 1 football program. Responsibilities include film break down, self-scout, opponent scout, assisting in game planning, and day-to-day responsibilities. Previous football experience preferred as well as knowledge of PowerPoint, XOS, Excel, and Visio. Qualifications: (1) Must have completed a Bachelor’s degree program (2) Experience competing in intercollegiate athletics or experience working in a collegiate football program. This position does not provide any stipend, benefits, or housing. However, you will receive experience working in a Division I program, have the potential to earn a paid position, and earn recommendations for future career opportunities. Stanford: Stanford has an opening for a recruiting volunteer. The Stanford Cardinal Football Program is looking for a highly motivated and detail oriented student looking to fulfill an internship during the 2019/2020 calendar year. They should want to gain experience in a fast-paced, elite, NCAA Division 1 football program. Our objective is to provide the intern with a comprehensive experience in college football recruiting. This role will be tailored towards hands-on, immersive learning and will give the intern experience in multiple areas of the recruiting process. Focus will include, but not limited to: prospect database management, social media content creation and communication, travel/event management, and adhering to NCAA by-laws. Applicants must be interested in pursuing a career in collegiate athletics. Applicants, if not local, should have a solidified Bay Area living arrangement. Buffalo Bills: Senior college scout Dennis Hickey has been promoted to senior national scout, and A.J. Highsmith and Mike Szabo have been hired as area scouts. Hickey is formerly the GM of the Miami Dolphins, Highsmith spent the past five years with the San Francisco 49ers, and Szabo spent 17 years with the Carolina Panthers.

The online degree is available with emphasis in Sports Management or Coaching & Leadership Eduction.
Illinois College (D-III - IL): Illinois College, a private co-ed liberal arts college in Jacksonville, Illinois, is seeking applications for a defensive restricted earnings coach, preference to defensive backs. This position is a 10 month, $7,000, no housing or benefits included, however an inexpensive housing option is available. Bowling Green: Steve Morrison has been hired as the team's new linebackers coach and assistant head coach, filling the role vacated by Jim Hermann for an NFL job. Morrison last coached at Syracuse in 2012, where he worked with the linebackers, and later left the program citing personal reasons in 2013.
Eastern New Mexico (D-II): Eastern New Mexico University is now accepting applicants for defensive graduate assistant. Compensation includes $8500 per year. includes a $14,000 stipend, room, and board. No healthcare benefits are included
with this position. The Part-Time Assistant Football Coach, Intern position is a 10-month position which reports to the Head Football Coach and Director of Athletics. This position
includes a $4,000 stipend, room, and board. No healthcare benefits are included
with this position. These positions are responsible for offensive or defensive skill positions coaching, recruitment both on and off campus in accordance with Hiram College, NCAC, and NCAA policies and procedures, video/academic support for assigned position players, and other duties as assigned. Qualifications for both positions include a Bachelor Degree and preferred minimum of 2 years’ experience in collegiate football. Completion of certification in NSCA or CSCCA is preferred but not required. Victor Valley (JC - CA): Victor Valley College will have an opening for a full-adjunct position in the Fall of 2019. Compensation generally works out around $35,000 for the year. Must have a Masters in Kinesiology. Absolutely no other degree will be given consideration. Would prefer a possible defensive coordinator or an offensive line coach, but any position will be considered. There is also a possibility of summer hours in the weight room to supplement income. Chowan (D-II - NC): Chowan University invites applications for the position of Assistant Football Coach (QBs or Corners) / Equipment Coordinator. This is a full-time, salaried position and includes an excellent benefit package. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain compliance with NCAA, conference, and institutional regulations.
