Mississippi State: Joe Moorhead has been officially announced as head coach of the program. Moorhead's introductory presser will take place Thursday at 11am EST.

Tennessee: With Mike Gundy out of the picture, source tells FootballScoop Tennessee officials plan to meet with Chad Morris tomorrow about their vacancy. Jimmy Hyams also tweets to "look for" Tennessee to pursue Auburn defensive coordinator Kevin Steele and SMU head coach Chad Morris. Bruce Feldman tweets he is told no meeting has been set with Morris for tomorrow yet.

Florida: Source tells FootballScoop Dan Mullen has released a number of folks from Florida's staff including assistant AD for football operations George Wynn and director of player development Kevin Barbay. Quality men. Hope each finds a good spot in the future.

Miami (OH): Source tells FootballScoop co-defensive coordinator Matt Pawlowski will not return. Pawlowski has served as defensive coordinator or co-DC at Miami since 2014. Prior to that he served in similar roles at Western Carolina, Grand Valley State and Ashland.

Florida: Dan Mullen's annual compensation is $6.07 million with annual possible performance bonuses of $925,000 tweets Steve Berkowitz.

Oregon State: In what appears to be a trial balloon, the concept of hiring Dennis Erickson was floated today for Oregon State. DHR International is running this search. Erickson, 70, last served as a head coach in 2011 at Arizona State and last coached in 2016 as running backs coach at Utah. Erickson served as head coach at Oregon State from 1999 - 2002 winning 31 games in four seasons.

Florida: Jim McElwain will receive a buyout of $7.5 million, beginning with a payment of $3.75 million on December 1, UAA has announced.

Tennessee: Mike Gundy is not expected to make a decision on the Tennessee job today, according to Brett McMurphy.

Florida: The Gators have now formally announced the additions of Billy Gonzales and John Hevesy to Dan Mullen's staff. Additionally, Mississippi State coordinator of recruiting operations Lee Begley has accepted the director of recruiting operations position at Florida.

Arkansas: Korn Ferry will be used for the athletic director search, and DHR International will be the search firm used to find a new head coach, the school has announced.

Florida: Defensive coordinator Randy Shannon, offensive coordinator Doug Nussmeier and position coaches Robb Akey, Corey Bell, Kerry Dixon II and Greg Nord will not be retained by Dan Mullen, reports Zach Abolverdi for SEC Country. Additionally, Brad Davis, Chris Rumph, Ja'Juan Seider and Tim Skipper are still on staff in undetermined roles. FootballScoop previously reported that John Hevesy and Billy Gonzales will follow Mullen from Starkville to Gainesville.

Charlotte: Along with the changes we covered yesterday, Greg Adkins (who assumed offensive coordinator duties midway through the season), will remain on board as offensive line coach and run game coordinator while head coach Brad Lambert searches to fill the offensive coordinator job previously held by Jeff Mullen.

Tennessee: Mike Gundy notified Oklahoma State of his intention to speak with Tennessee about their head coaching job, and that meeting is scheduled for today according to a tweet from Brett McMurphy.

Bethel (NAIA - KS): James McCartney, who has served as the defensive line the coach the last three seasons, has been named interim head coach of the program. The school notes in their release that "The search for an official appointment to the head coaching post is on-going, and will come from outside of the program."

Arkansas: Arkansas plans to have an AD hired by the end of this week and a football coach by next week, according to Wally Hall of Arkansas Online.

Sterling (NAIA - KS): Offensive coordinator Chase Hansen is being promoted to head coach. Hansen has been on staff six seasons, and the past three years have been among the best seasons in school history.

Iowa Central (JC): Per source, the head coaching job is open. Kevin Twait led the team in 2017 to a 1-10 finish.

Duke: David Cutcliffe wants to finish out his coaching career at Duke, per report.

Moorpark College (JC - CA): MC is seeking an Offensive Coordinator/QB coach. These position pay ranges around $12k-15k per season. With also possibility of teaching classes. Must be willing to start ASAP and recruit during off season. Want an experience QB coach who has called plays preferably at the college level.
