USC: On USC's weekly radio show Tuesday night, Lynn Swann gave Clay Helton a vote of confidence. "I believe in Clay," he said.

Maryland: AD Damon Evans didn't outright state but implied DJ Durkin will coach Maryland in Saturday's game with Michigan State in a Tuesday evening statement. "DJ Durkin is our head football coach and has all the customary responsibilities along with it," he said. "Coach Durkin is focused on ensuring that there is a smooth transition and his priority is the well-being of our student-athletes.”

Maryland: At the press conference today, Maryland's Board Chair made their support for DJ Durkin clear. University President Wallace Loh, stated that Damon Evans (who he called "one of the finest ADs in the country") and DJ Durkin would retain their positions. It has been reported by multiple outlets that DJ has now met with the team.

Northeastern State (D-II - OK): Per sources, head coach Rob Robinson has been let go after four seasons. The team is 0-9 heading into their final two games of the season.

Ohio State: Urban Meyer met with local reporters to discuss his health issues. Urban says this is serious; but he remains committed to Ohio State "for as long as I can."

Maryland: DJ Durkin and Damon Evans will retain their roles as head football coach and director of athletics per multiple reports. University President Wallace Loh will be retiring at the end of the school year as well. More on this fascinating turn of events here.

Kansas: Former video coordinator Jeff Love has been promoted to an on-field coaching role assisting David Beaty, filling the opening created with offensive coordinator Doug Meacham was let go.

Campbell (FCS - NC): Per source, assistant head coach / defensive coordinator Craig Cox has been let go after six years with the program.

Maryland: The Board of Regents will hold a press briefing at 3:30 today. The release states that "During the media availability, the results of the independent commission investigation into the culture of the football program at the University of Maryland, College Park (UMCP) will be discussed." Stay tuned.
