Kansas State: Bill Snyder made a change at quarterback on Saturday without telling any of his assistants or the outgoing QB.
Injuries: In response to the new gambling laws, more than half of FBS ADs told a survey they'd support a nationwide injury report. More here.
Bowl games: The San Francisco-based Foster Farms Bowl will now be known as the Redbox Bowl moving forward. This will be the fifth different name in the 17-year history of the game.
Colorado State: AD Joe Parker has given a show of confidence for head coach Mike Bobo. “I don’t think we’re at a moment where we should be questioning the long-term commitment to Coach Bobo and the direction that he’s leading his program,” Parker told The Coloradoan. Bobo signed a 5-year extension through 2022 that guarantees much of his $10 million in total salary last December; he is 22-22 overall in Fort Collins and 1-4 this season.
AAF: The final four Alliance of American Football teams have their logos and nicknames.
