Tennessee: Senior associate AD for football administration Mike Vollmar has resigned, the school has announced.

Auburn: Al Borges is joining the Auburn staff as an offensive analyst reports Chris Low of ESPN. Borges, who served as offensive coordinator at San Jose State the past two seasons, previously served as OC at Auburn from 2004-2007.

NCAA vote: Ahead of a monumental vote that could approve a 10th assistant coach, the IAWP rule, a December signing period and more, AFCA executive director Todd Berry laid out the organization's stances in a radio interview Wednesday.

Morrisville State (D-III - NY): Morrisville State College located in Morrisville, NY (30 miles southeast of Syracuse) is seeking applicants for a restricted earnings assistant football coach. Resume building opportunities include (but are not limited to): special teams coordinator, defensive position coach (LBs or safeties), and film coordinator (HUDL). Salary will be in the range of $10,000-$15,000, plus off-campus housing and partial meal funding. Preferred candidates will have 2-3 years of NCAA coaching and recruiting experience, as well as an in-depth knowledge of HUDL. Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s preferred. Grinnell College (D-III - IA): Matt Reed, who coached the wide receivers at Knox College (D-III - IL) the past three seasons, has joined the Grinnell College staff and will serve as recruiting coordinator and quarterbacks / running backs coach.

Morrisville State (D-III - NY): Morrisville State College located in Morrisville, NY (30 miles southeast of Syracuse) is seeking applicants for an intern assistant football coach. Preferred candidates will have playing and/or coaching experience at wide receiver or running back. Resume building opportunities include (but are not limited to): coaching your own position, managing your own recruiting area, academic monitoring of student-athletes, practice and game film breakdown (HUDL), plus other duties assigned by the head football coach. Compensation package includes a $5,000 stipend, off-campus housing, and partial meal funding. In addition, because of employment within the SUNY system, this position is entitled to receive a tuition waiver for one graduate class per semester at any other SUNY institution (preferably online classes). Probable start date is August 1, however housing will be available all summer. Interested candidates should email assistant coach Patrick Rotchford at rotchfpc@morrisville.edu.

Bill Cubit: The former Western Michigan and Illinois head coach has been named head coach at Martin County (FL) High School. He went 30-6 with two district titles at the school as head coach from 1986-88.

CFL: Jeffrey Orridge will end his 2-year run as the Canadian Football League's commissioner, effective June 30.

ASA-Miami (JC - FL): ASA-Miami has 2 entry level coaching positions available on the defensive side of the ball. One position will work with the linebackers and the other will be dependent on best possible hire (DL or DB). Position will include a stipend of 7500.00 a year and a room in the dorms. Must be able to use hudl software and be willing to work coaching hours with a great attitude. Prior playing/coaching experience is a major plus.
