Illinois: Corners coach Donnie Abraham has left the staff to return to Florida, to be closer to his son, who is a senior in high school. Head coach Lovie Smith shared that the current coaching staff will absorb Abraham's responsibilities.
East Carolina: Former Tennessee AD Dave Hart will remain on as special athletics adviser to the chancellor through the football season. ECU does not have a permanent AD after Jeff Compher accepted a buyout and stepped down on May 1. Hart is being paid $31,250 per month, according to the Greenville Daily Reflector.
North Texas: Seth Littrell has signed a 5-year contract that increases his base pay from $900,000 to $1.2 million annually and his total compensation from just under $1 million to $1.4 million, according to contract details obtained by Brett Vito of the Denton Record-Chronicle. Littrell's new deal comes with a buyout that starts at $2.1 million and drops to $1.68 million after this season. Additionally, AD Wren Baker signed a 6-year contract with a raise from $375,000 to $450,000.
