Abilene Christian (FCS - TX): Sources tell FootballScoop Adam Dorrel plans to bring TCU offensive grad assistant JW Walsh (former Oklahoma State quarterback) to coach running backs. Dorrel also will retain Ray Brown coaching corners and has Danieal Manning working with safeties, technically as an undergrad / student assistant.

Chattanooga (FCS): Sources tell FootballScoop Tennessee Tech offensive coordinator Justin Rascati will be the new offensive coordinator at UTC. Rascati, who won a national championship at James Madison as a quarterback, has coached quarterbacks (& OC) at TTU and Weber State and has coached receivers at UT Martin as well.

Ole Miss: Former LSU special teams coordinator Bradley Dale Peveto is expected to join the Ole Miss staff coaching the linebackers reports Ben Garrett of the Ole Miss Spirit.

Samford (FCS): Source tells FootballScoop running backs coach Derrick Foster has been promoted, adding title of run game coordinator.

West Virginia: Defensive coordinator Tony Gibson has agreed to a new three year contract worth $2.7 million per Mike Casazza who covers WVU.

Central Michigan: Sources tell FootballScoop running backs coach Gino Guidugli is being promoted to offensive coordinator.

Furman: Reinhardt University (NAIA - GA) head coach Drew Cronic is joining the Furman staff as offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach we can confirm. Yesterday, 247sports reported George Quarles (head coach at Maryville HS TN) would have that role.

Oregon State: According to John Canzano, Oregon State has offered their athletic director position to Pitt AD Scott Barnes and the two parties are in negotiations.

St. Francis (NAIA - IN): Head coach Kevin Donley has signed a five-year contract extension, keeping him at St. Francis until 2021. Donley led the program to their first eve NAIA title this season, and has 302 wins in 38 seasons as head coach. He is 187-44 as the head coach at St. Francis, including an impressive 18 winning seasons.

North Alabama (D-II): Sources tell FootballScoop that defensive coordinator and longtime assistant Chris Willis will become the new head coach of the UNA program. An official announcement could come as soon as tomorrow. Willis has spent the past 15 seasons with the team, and five as the defensive coordinator taking part in seven conference titles and 12 playoff appearances with the program.

Ohio State: Ohio State has announced that analyst, and longtime NFL assistant, Bill Davis is being promoted to defensive assistant and his specific role will be determined after the season. Davis fills the defensive opening left by Luke Fickell's departure to become the head coach at Cincinnati.

Lafayette (FCS): Sources tell FootballScoop John Garrett will be the next head coach at Lafayette. Garrett, brother of Dallas Cowboys head coach Jason, served as offensive coordinator at Richmond this past season. Garrett came to Richmond after serving one year at Florida in a quality control role. He served as offensive coordinator at Oregon State for the 2014 season, coach receivers for the Tampa Bay Bucs in 2013 and was with the Cowboys from 2007-2012.

Abilene Christian: Nebraska Kearney head coach Josh Lamberson has finally accepted the offensive coordinator position at ACU.

Muskingum (D-III - OH): Muskingum University is now accepting applications in the department of intercollegiate athletics for an assistant football coach with emphasis given to coaching the offensive line. As the assistant coach, the successful candidate is responsible to assist the head coach in all coaching responsibilities as assigned, plus work effectively with the head coach and admission’s office in the recruitment and retention of quality student-athletes. Qualifications: A Bachelor’s Degree is required; Master’s Degree preferred. Must have coaching experience on the offensive side of the football (line). Houston: Former Missouri and Illinois offensive line coach AJ Ricker has joined the staff as an offensive assistant as we reported last night.

Nevada: Chip Viney, who had served as a quality control assistant at Oklahoma and also served as a former defensive graduate assistant working with the Sooners defensive backs, has accepted the defensive backs job on Jay Norvell's staff.

Independence CC (KS): Independence CC has a full-time, 12-month offensive line position for hire. Must have's for the position include: experience, enthusiasm, the ability to immediately diagnose issues during a game, confidence, the abilitiy to see all five of your guys on every play, ability to make proper adjustments, and must be someone who thrives in the heat of battle. Bachelor's degree is preferred. Applicants must have intercollegiate coaching experience. Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse population is highly preferred. Prior to a final offer of employment, the selected candidate will be required to submit to a background check including, but not limited to, employment verification, educational and other credential verification, and criminal background. Salary is dependent on qualifications and experience; an excellent benefits package is included.
