LSU: Matt Canada is not expected to be retained following LSU's bowl game reports Ross Dellenger. This has been a long time coming per our sources with issues from the start. LSU officials supported Canada's search for other opportunities this month; but Canada thus far has not found any suitors. Dellenger adds LSU officials have been in communication with Canada's representatives about a reduced buyout. Steve Ensminger, currently on staff, is mentioned by Dellenger as a possible replacement and our sources confirm the same. Sources expand to say LSU expects to bring in a fresh face on the offensive side of the ball regardless of whether Ensminger is promoted or not. Stay tuned....

BYU: Head coach Kalani Sitake has now tweeted confirming our report Ryan Pugh was coming. He also confirmed, as we noted earlier today that Aaron Roderick will be part of the offensive staff.

BYU: UTSA offensive line coach Ryan Pugh is headed to BYU in the same capacity source tells FootballScoop. Pugh previously served as new BYU offensive coordinator Jeff Grimes' assistant at LSU. Pugh leaving marks at least the 5th assistant Frank Wilson will need to replace at UTSA.

UTSA: After considering a number of external candidates, Frank Wilson has promoted co-defensive coordinator Jason Rollins to defensive coordinator. Rollins, known as a talented recruiter, has never before served as a defensive coordinator but did serve as Lionel Washington's co-DC at Tulane and as co-DC at McNeese State earlier in his career.

SMU: Whisper in the profession is Sonny Dykes is building a nice staff. Hear the entire thing could be in place in days. Will update...

Arkansas-Pine Bluff (FCS): Alcorn State defensive coordinator Cedric Thomas has now officially been named head coach at UAPB.

Hawaii: Source tells FootballScoop linebackers coach Sean Duggan will not return. Sounds as if a new defensive scheme is coming to town and room is being made for new DC to hire his staff.
