Jacksonville Jaguars: Clemson co-defensive coordinator / defensive ends coach Marion Hobby has been announced as the Jags new defensive line coach.

Arkansas: The promotion of Paul Rhoads to defensive coordinator has now been announced by the university.

LSU: Offensive coordinator Matt Canada will earn $1.5 million per year over the course of his 3-year deal, according to Ross Dellenger of the Baton Rouge Advocate.

Oakland Raiders: Offensive line coach Mike Tice will return for a third season with the franchise in 2017, per Adam Caplan.

California: The Golden Bears have announced Nicholas Edwards as wide receivers coach. Edwards joins the staff after coaching the wide receivers under Beau Baldwin at Eastern Washington (FCS) the past three years.

LA Rams: Former Jaguars offensive coordinator Greg Olson is planning to join the staff as quarterbacks coach, per Adam Schefter. Schefter adds that Olson was a favorite to join the Bills as offensive coordinator.

Scoop Him Up: Craig Andrus, a high-energy coach and tremendous recruiter is looking to return to the college coaching ranks. His resume includes coaching stops at Southeastern Oklahoma State, Louisiana-Lafayette and East Texas Baptist. Most recently, Andrus has spent this past season as the defensive coordinator at Atoka High School in Oklahoma. With his infectious energy and gift for forming strong player relationships, Andrus has coached all over the field. His coaching knowledge is across the board, serving as a special teams assistant, a pass defense coordinator, while coaching safeties, corners, linebackers and wide receivers. Andrus has also pulled double duty, not only coaching on the field but also serving as the compliance liaison and academic coordinator in off-the-field duties. Andrus has earned three degrees and gained invaluable experience as an intern with the Kansas City Chiefs front office. Auburn: Oklahoma State offensive coordinator Mike Yurcich has removed his name from consideration for Auburn's next offensive coordinator, according to Robert Allen.

Colorado: Sources tell FootballScoop Kentucky defensive coordinator DJ Eliot is headed to Colorado in a similar capacity. Eliot has served as defensive coordinator the past four seasons for Mark Stoops. Prior to coming to UK, Eliot coached with Stoops at Florida State for three seasons.

Wake Forest: As was reported yesterday, former Minnesota defensive coordinator Jay Sawvel has now been announced as the program's new defensive coordinator. He takes over for Mike Elko who took the same post at Notre Dame.

Louisiana Lafayette: West Georgia head coach Will Hall has agreed to become offensive coordinator at ULL for Mark Hudspeth sources tell FootballScoop. More on the move here. Our understanding is Jorge Munoz will move to receivers, Mike Desormeaux to running backs, Marquase Lovings to defensive ends and Levorn Harbin to defensive tackles.

10th full-time assistant: The NCAA D-I Council has recommended adding a 10th full-time assistant coach for football. A formal vote will take place in April.

Buffalo Bills: Kelly Skipper has been named running backs coach the team has announced. Skipper coached the running backs with the Jags last season.

Urbana (D-II - OH): Urbana University is seeking applicants for a full-time offensive line coach. This position pays 30k with a start date as soon as possible. Clemson:Mickey Conn has been promoted to co-defensive backs coach, per The Clemson Insider. Conn joined the Clemson staff in 2016 as a defensive analyst and is a former teammate of Swinney's at Alabama. Before joining the staff, Conn was previously the head coach at Grayson HS (GA), where he led the program to a 137-48 mark.

Nichols College (D-III - MA): Nichols College is looking for a graduate assistant to coach linebackers and to start immediately. Responsibilities include: coaching a position, recruiting, film breakdown, and other duties assigned by the Head Coach. Applicants must be accepted into our Masters program and have a drivers license. Compensation package includes $13,000/year and full tuition waiver. Candidates preferably have college coaching and/or playing experience. Review of candidates will begin immediately and continue until filled. Eastern Washington: Zak Hill, who served as quarterbacks coach at EWU from 2009-2015, will not be heading back to Eastern, reports Jeff Caves who covers Boise State. Hill currently serves as co-OC / quarterbacks at Boise State.

West Florida (D-II): Due to an overwhelming amount of interest, we will no longer be accepting resumes for the tight end coaching position. We greatly appreciate everyone’s interest in being a part of the University of West Florida family.

Houston Texans: The Texans will not hire an offensive coordinator to replace George Godsey, per John McClain, who adds that head coach Bill O'Brien will call plays and wide receivers coach Sean Ryan will move to coach the quarterbacks.

Chicago Bears: Curtis Modkins, who served as the offensive coordinator for the 49ers last season, is expected to join the Bears staff as running backs coach, per Adam Caplan.

Mary Hardin-Baylor (D-III - TX): The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor is seeking qualified graduate assistant applications (offensive & / or defensive line preferred). Furman (FCS): Rod Wilson has joined the staff and will coach the linebackers. Wilson coached the inside linebackers at Charleston Southern (FCS) the past few seasons.

Nebraska-Kearney (D-II): Eastern New Mexico (D-II) coachesScott Lewis (DC) and special teams coordinator / defensive line coach Levi Gallas are both joining Josh Lynn at UNK, per Dave Griek of KHGI.

Mary Hardin-Baylor (D-III - TX):The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor Football Program is seeking an opponent for a home/home series in 2018 & 2019. North Carolina Central (FCS): TC Taylor has dropped the title of co-offensive coordinator title and has been named offensive coordinator for the program, per source.

Western Michigan: Tim Daoust, who served as the defensive coordinator at Ball State last season, has joined Tim Lester's staff as co-defensive coordinator.

Houston Texans: Per Albert Breer, the Texans are promoting linebackers coach Mike Vrabel to defensive coordinator and Romeo Crennel is expected to stay on staff, likely as assistant head coach.

Lindenwood-Belleville (NAIA - IL): Kevin Turco has been named head coach of the program. Turco, who has nearly two decades of coaching experience, spent the past two seasons as the assistant head coach and offensive line coach at Urbana University (D-II - OH).

Minot State (D-II - ND): The three finalists for the head coaching job at Minot state are former Missouri Western State (D-II) head coach Jerry Partridge, Southwest Minnesota State (D-II), associate head coach Mike Aldrich, and former Lindenwood University (D-II - MO) head coach Patrick Ross. The three finalists will receive on-campus interviews beginning Monday January 23rd. Partridge will interview the 23rd, Aldrich will interview the 25th and Ross will be on campus for his interview the 27th.
