Northwestern: Pat Fitzgerald made just over $3.6 million in 2016, Steve Berkowitz tweets. $3.04 million was Fitz's base pay plus over $300k in bonus money. Berkowitz adds that AD Jim Phillips was credited with $1.8 million in total pay (base of $900k and bonus of $230k) during 2016.
Louisiana Tech: Skip Holtz tells The Athletic he won't be adding a 10th assistant to the staff this year, due to budgeting.

Franklin and Marshall College (D-III – PA): Franklin and Marshall College is seeking qualified applicants for the positions of intern assistant coach and Director of Football Operations. The intern position will coach on offense, with the position to be determined by experience and background. Duties will include coaching and recruiting. Additional duties may be assigned by the head coach or the director of athletics. The Director of Football Operations will assist the head coach with day to day operations of the football program. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree, a valid driver’s license, and playing experience at the collegiate level. Preference will be given to applicants with previous experience coaching at the collegiate or high school level. Knowledge of and adherence to F&M, NCAA Division III, and Centennial Conference rules and regulations are also required. Compensation includes stipend and some meals. Nebraska: Ron Brown is heading back to Nebraska. After spending the past three seasons at Liberty with Turner Gill, the long time Husker is joining Scott Frost's staff as director of player development. Brown previously served at Nebraska from 1987 - 2003 and from 2008 - 2014.
Oklahoma: Source tells FootballScoop Lincoln Riley is in the process of adding Nevada corners coach Courtney Viney back to the OU staff. We expect Viney's role to be "off the field."
Humboldt State: After about a year of turmoil and headlines, Humboldt State has decided to drop their football program after the 2018 season.
Kentucky Wesleyan (D-II): Head coach Brent Holsclaw has announced his resignation, effective July 31st. Associate head coach Taurean Smith has been named interim head coach for the 2018 season and a national search will be conducted at the end of the season. Holsclaw is leaving to pursue an opportunity in the private sector after 15 years leading the program and is the all-time leader in wins.
Louisiana College (D-III): Louisiana College is seeking to hire two part time positions, one running backs / fullbacks / tight ends coach, and the other is defensive line coach. Stipend of $9,000 each is available with other possible opportunities to increase pay. Possible dorm and meal plan provided. Responsibilities for these positions include but are not limited to: video coordinator, assistant academic liason, facility coordinator, and other duties assigned by coordinators and the head coach. College coaching and recruiting experience preferred. Must have a Bachelor’s Degree. One of these positions will also be used as an assistant golf coach (no golf coaching experience necessary). Pacific (D-III - OR): Pacific University is currently seeking an assistant wide receivers coach. Duties include assisting the offensive coordinator, working with skill positions, recruiting an area and other duties as assigned by the head coach. Wayne State (D-II - NE): Wayne State College (NCAA Division II Northern Sun Conference) located in Wayne, Nebraska has an immediate opening for one Graduate Assistant coach.
