Wingate (D-II - NC): Wingate University is taking applications for a restricted earnings assistant quarterback coach. Preference will be given to candidates who have played QB in college. Stonehill (D-II - MA):  Stonehill College seeks applicants for the position of assistant football coach for defense (defensive backs). Preferred candidates will have prior experience playing/coaching on the defensive side of the ball, preferably defensive back, and have ties to the Northeast region. Candidates will be responsible for coaching a position group, recruiting a geographical area, film editing/breakdown (HUDL), and all other duties assigned by the head football coach. A bachelor’s degree and valid driver’s license is required. Compensation will include a monthly stipend and an on-campus meal plan. No health benefits or housing are included. NCAA Rule Change Alert: Division I players will soon be able to transfer to another school without the permission of their current school / coach.

Virginia Tech: Tyrone Nix, the former defensive coordinator at Middle Tennessee, Ole Miss, South Carolina and Southern Miss is joining the VT staff in place of Galen Scott, who resigned a few months back, Adam Rittenberg tweets. Also, the Hokies have now formally named Mark Diethron as their director of player personnel. Diethorn spent the past six years at Pitt and the past three as the director of recruiting.

East Central CC (JC - MS): E.C.C.C is currently seeking one volunteer defensive line coach/part-time student service assistant, preferably with Mississippi ties, for 2018-19 football season. This is a 10 month position requiring competent computer skills (HUDL,and Microsoft Office). Duties will include working with student services and monitoring campus dorms. Penn (FCS): The University of Pennsylvania is seeking a Defensive Quality Control. This is an entry-level, stipend position (paid hourly) with no benefits or housing. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, film breakdown, creation of defensive film cut ups, data entry, assisting with game preparation and any other duties assigned by the Defensive Coordinator, Defensive Staff and/or Head Coach. The ideal candidate is a young, energetic, up-and-coming coach with a strong work ethic and experience playing or coaching on the defensive side of the ball.
