Warner (NAIA - FL): Warner University is seeking a full time Assistant Football Coach to join our coaching staff. This candidate will be responsible for coaching linebackers, recruiting student-athletes from their assigned area of Florida and will also be assigned an administrative duty (like equipment management or coordinating team travel). In addition to previous football coaching experience, the ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate that they have good organization skills and show good attention to detail. They must also be passionate about student athletes and have a strong desire to integrate their Christian faith into their coaching, mentoring and recruitment processes. Requirements: A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree (a Master’s degree would be preferred); previous coaching experience (with linebackers a significant plus). This position will start July 1. New England Patriots: Former Patriots linebacker Jerod Mayo, will be the Patriots new linebackers coach, according to Tom E. Curran. Mayo retired in 2016 after a nine-year career in the NFL - all with the Patriots - and spent the last few seasons out of football.

Scoop 'Em Up: Mike Juscik is looking for a new coaching opportunity after spending 16 years at the college level, and 8 at the high school level. During that time Juscik has 8 years experience as a head coach, has coached linebackers for 20 years, and has 13 years of coordinating experience (9 on defense and 4 on offense) . This past season he was the head coach at Concordia University Chicago (D-III - IL), where he and his staff brought in 73 freshmen to the program, leading to the largest team the school had ever had. The previous 4 seasons he served as the teams defensive coordinator and linebacker coach. Prior to CUC Coach Juscik was the head coach at Bishop Noll HS (IN) for seven seasons. He spent 2000 – 2007 he coached at Saginaw Valley State (D-II - MI) during one of the best stretches in program history, including 5 playoff appearances and 1 GLIAC championship. He's built relationships with, and his references include, Packers head coach Matt LaFluer, Ball State head coach Mike Neu, Northwestern receivers coach Dennis Springer, and Eastern Washington offensive coordinator Ian Shoemaker. Upper Iowa (D-II): Upper Iowa University invites applications for a Football Graduate Assistant-Defensive Coach on the Fayette, IA campus.This is a 10-month position with the opportunity to renew for a second year, which is subject to the individual maintaining a 3.0 GPA and meeting University expectations. Compensation includes a monthly stipend and tuition assistance. Applicant must hold a bachelor’s degree and be admitted into a graduate program at Upper Iowa University. A valid driver’s license and ability to meet the requirements to drive University vehicles required. Collegiate playing experience and/or football coaching experience and an understanding of NCAA Division II rules and regulations preferred. NFL: Team owners vote overwhelmingly to allow teams to challenge pass interference calls and no calls.

St. Thomas (D-III - MN): The University of St. Thomas has a part-time (non-benefit) assistant coach - running backs position available. The position includes coaching the running back position and various recruiting, film breakdown and game planning responsibilities. Those interested can contact the program directly

East Stroudsburg (D-II - PA): Mike Lackey, who spent the past four seasons at Missouri - most recently as a defensive graduate assistant, has accepted the defensive coordinator job.

Shorter (D-II - GA): Shorter University is looking to fill TWO OPEN positions. Shorter University is looking to hire a Graduate Assistant Position, as well as a Quality Control position, both on the defensive side of the ball. The Graduate Assistant position comes with tuition waiver and NO STIPEND. Successful candidates must be able to gain admission into Shorter University Graduate School. The Quality Control position comes with a small stipend. NO HOUSING is available for either position. Shorter University is looking to fill both positions immediately with the start date beginning as soon as possible. Preferred candidates should have knowledge of Hudl, and be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel, Visio). Johns Hopkins (D-III - MD): Dan Wodicka, a grad of Johns Hopkins and former member of the coaching staff, has been announced as special teams coordinator / defensive line coach. Wodicka spent the last two seasons as wide receivers / tight ends coach at Williams College (D-III - MA) and prior to that coached the running backs at Northern Michigan (D-II).

Kansas: David Beaty and Kansas administration are still fighting over his $3 million buyout.

NC State: Coming off two straight 9-win seasons, for the second season in a row, Dave Doeren has signed a new contract at NC State.

UW - La Crosse (D-III): With Isaac Fruechte leaving for Northern Iowa (see below), head coach Mike Schmidt is taking over the offensive coordinator duties, per Scott Emerich.

Saginaw Valley State (D-II - MI): Eli Reinhart is joining the staff as pass game coordinator / running backs coach, per source. Reinhart has spent the last few seasons at Ferris State (D-II - MI), most recently as the inside wide receivers coach and recruiting coordinator, and had recently joined the Northwood (D-II - MI) staff as a full-time assistant working with inside wide receivers and wingbacks.

Northern Iowa (FCS): Isaac Fruechte, who spent last season as the co-offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach at UW-La Crosse (D-III), has been announced as the new wide receivers coach.

Chowan (D-II - NC): Chowan University is looking to hire 4-unpaid quality control coaches (two on offense and two on defense). The successful candidates will assist in film breakdown, recruiting, data entry, assisting with game preparation and other duties assigned by the offensive and defensive coordinators. These positions are strictly voluntary… there will be NO HOUSING, NO MEALS and NO COMPENSATION. We are looking for individuals that are highly motivated and are looking to gain experience in this profession as these positions will offer valuable experience for individuals looking to coach or work in intercollegiate athletics.. RPA College (JC - TX): RPA has hired Derek LaCaze as their new head coach. LaCaze spent the 2017 season as the defensive coordinator at Itasca CC (JC - MN).
