NCAA: The NCAA has proposed adding two early signing periods and adding a 10th full-time assistant coach. Read more here.

A man walked into Colorado's athletics facility with a machete this morning, but police quickly got the situation under control. 

Les Miles: Les appeared on Colin Cowherd's show and said, in typical Les speak, on his desire to coach again, "I'm very active in seeing what the lay of the land is for the future."

Hurricane Matthew: Due to the oncoming hurricane heading for the lower portion of the East Coast, UCF has moved its home game with Tulane from Friday night to Nov. 5. UMass and Old Dominion have moved their game up to Friday night. LSU-Florida, Florida State-Miami and Georgia-South Carolina may be moved as well. We'll keep you posted.

Ohio State: Joker Phillips, who worked as the wide receivers coach for the Cleveland Browns last year before joining the Buckeye staff as a quality control assistant, will make $35,000 this season, per the Cleveland Plain Dealer.
