Maryland: A day after reinstating him,Maryland has announced the that they've dismissed head coach DJ Durkin. Here's what you need to know.

Cleveland Browns: With Freddie Kitchens now calling the offense, former NFL quarterback and San Diego State graduate assistant Ryan Lindley has been named running backs coach. Lindley joined the San Diego State coaching staff in 2017 and also helped quarterbacks Carson Wentz, Jared Goff, and Mitch Trubisky prepare for the NFL draft.

MTSU: The investigation into Rick Stockstill and Middle Tennessee State has been completed.

SWAC: The SWAC has relocated its upcoming championship game from Birmingham's Legion Field to the home stadium of its highest-ranking division champion. The relocation is necessary because UAB is on track to host the Conference USA Championship at Legion Field on Dec. 1 as well.

Quincy (D-II - IL): Quincy University has an opening for a Restricted Earnings OR Graduate Assistant on the Defensive side of the football. Candidates should have experience with Defensive Line or Defensive Backs. This is an entry level position that would be great for a young coach to start his coaching career. Ohio State: Urban Meyer met with local reporters yesterday to go more in depth on the health issues he's been battling. Urban says this is serious; but he remains committed to Ohio State “for as long as I can.”

Auburn: Defensive coordinator Kevin Steele is being paid $2.05 million this season, including a $250k retention bonus, per Steve Berkowitz. Berkowitz points out that Steele's deal is for 3-years and is for $1.9 million in 2019, and $2 million in 2020.
