Cincinnati Bengals: Hue Jackson has been brought on staff to assist in coaching the defensive backs and special teams.

San Francisco 49ers: Tracy Smith has been hired as assistant special teams coordinator. Smith spent last season with the Seahawks as an assistant. The Niners have also promoted quality control coaches Ejiro Evero and Michael Christianson to offensive assistants. Christianson will continue to serve as coordinator of football technology.

Western Illinois: Running backs coach KiJuan Ware has been promoted to offensive coordinator.

New Mexico Highlands: Oklahoma State graduate assistant Stephen Parker has accepted the offensive line job.

Catholic University (D-III - Washington, DC): The Catholic University of America seeks applicants for a full time, 12 month Assistant Football Coach. Catholic University is a Division III member institution participating in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, coaching an offensive skill position, off-campus recruiting, assisting the head coach in all practice and game day preparation and other duties as assigned by the Head Football Coach. Requirements; Candidates must have a minimum of a bachelors degree with a minimum of 3 years of coaching experience, collegiate playing experience preferred. Qualified candidates must demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills as well as be committed to the policies and regulations of the ODAC and NCAA Division III. Chattanooga: Christopher Newport defensive coordinator Adam Braithwaite will coach the safeties. Defensive coordinator Adam Fuller will continue to coach the linebackers. 

SMU: Bob Palcic is the new offensive line coach. Palcic served as the offensive line coach at UCLA last season.

Central Missouri (D-II): Hastings College defensive coordinator Kyle Westphal has accepted the defensive backs and special teams coordinator position.

Toronto Argonauts (CFL): Kez McCorvey will serve as the receivers coach with Toronto. McCorvey most recently coached receivers and coordinated the pass game at Bethel (NAIA - TN).

Cal Murphy, a member of the Canadian Football Hall of Fame for his accomplishments as a coach and general manager, has passed away. Please keep his family in your thoughts.
