UAB: Sources tell us that Jacksonville State head coach Bill Clark plans to accept the head coaching job at UAB. Here's the Sunday night update.

Tulsa: Muskogee HS head coach Josh Blankenship is joining the staff (as quarterbacks we're told). Denver Johnson will take over as offensive coordinator. A few other adjustments within the staff as well. Will update...

Cincinnati: Associate head coach Robert Prunty will now coach the entire defensive line and has added the co-defensive coordinator title as well.

Kentucky Christian (NAIA): Hickman County (TN) head coach Tommy Rewis is the new running backs coach at KCU per a source.

Hampton: Just to recap Connell Maynor's inaugural staff; John Eder (assistant head coach / offensive line / recruiting coordinator), Markus Lawrence (assistant offensive line), Duane Taylor (receivers), Michael Ramseur (running backs), Kenny Phillips (defensive coordinator), Marcus Gladden (linebackers), Gary Lowery (defensive line), and Marco Butler (defensive backs).

Jackson State: Lane head coach Derrick Burroughs is joining the Jackson State staff as defensive coordinator per sources.

South Alabama: After being talked about as a possible candidate for the UAB head coaching job, USA head coach Joey Jones told AL.com, "I'm staying at South Alabama. I'm not going anywhere."

Penn State: Temple receivers coach Terry Smith will be joining James Franklin's staff, according to OwlScoop (and we have confirmed). Smith was a four-year letterman at Penn State in the early 90's and had 11 very successful seasons as the head coach at Gateway HS (Monroeville, PA). He will coach the corners.

Minnesota Vikings: George Edwards has agreed to become the Vikings defensive coordinator. A deal was reached late last night according to reports.

Tennessee Titans: Former Jags head coach Mike Mularkey has informed the Vikings that he is not joining their staff, and will instead join Ken Whisenhunt's Tennessee staff coaching the tight ends or quarterbacks, according to Jason La Canfora.

Rice: Sources tell us David Bailiff is planning to have co-offensive coordinators Larry Edmondson and Billy Lynch (with Edmondson calling the plays). Also sounds like they plan to promote one of their grad assistant / quality control staff to fill the open position on the offensive side.

Sam Houston State: The Huntsville Item notes that former Delaware head coach K.C. Keeler, former Northwest Missouri State head coach (and current athletic director) Mel Tjeersdma, Virginia offensive line coach coach Scott Wachenheim, and former Texas co-offensive coordinator / receivers coach Darrell Wyatt are among the finalists for the head coaching job.

Tampa Bay Bucs: George Warhop has been announced as offensive line coach. Warhop spent the last five seasons in the same capacity with the Browns.

Arkansas State: Brian Early, who most recently served as the defensive quality control coach at Arkansas, has been named defensive line coach.
