Detroit Lions owner William Clay Ford Sr. has passed away this morning at 88. Ford purchased the team in 1963, Please keep his family in your prayers.
Stanford: Longtime Texas assistant Duane Akina is joining David Shaw's staff as secondary coach.
Denver Broncos: Per source, LSU offensive quality control coach Bo Hardegree has been hired as an offensive assistant with the Broncos. Hardegree worked with the quarterbacks and was at LSU for three seasons, and also served as an offensive grad assistant at Duke for three seasons under David Cutcliffe.
Iowa Barnstormers (Arena): Head coach Mike Hohensee has announced his coaching staff. Ernesto "Netto" Purnsley will return for his third season as defensive coordinator, David Paffenroth will coach the offensive line in his second season with the team, and Stanley Wrubluski will serve as defensive line coach / special teams coordinator.
