Pitt: Once again, despite the Pittsbugh Post Gazette report, we are hearing that Holgorsen has not interviewed with Pitt. We do, however, hear that Holgorsen has options at other places. 

Miami (FL): Miami athletic director Kirby Hocutt says Al Golden agreed to a 5-year contract. 

Northern Illinois: We are hearing Notre Dame assistant Chuck Martin and Wisconsin defensive coordinator Dave Doeren are amongst those in the mix. Our sources tell us Syracuse defensive coordinator Scott Shafer will be staying at Syracuse. Another source tells us that, at one point, NIU officials had interest in Northern Iowa head coach Mark Farley.

Pitt: The Pittsburgh Post Gazette is now reporting they have confirmed that Oklahoma State offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach Dana Holgorsen has interviewed for the Pitt head coaching job. 

Temple: Our sources tell us that Temple will have interest in New Hampshire head coach Sean McDonnell. 

Miami: ESPN is reporting that Al Golden has accepted the Miami job. 

Vanderbilt: The Washington Post is reporting that Gus Malzahn has accepted the Vanderbilt job. 

Arkansas: Petrino will average $3.56 million per year in his new deal that runs through 2017. Here are the buyout totals per year: $18 million, $18 million, $17.95 million, $14.525 million, $10.825 million, $7.375 million and $3.925 million. There is also a no-compete clause where Petrino has agreed not to seek employment at any other SEC school.

Mississippi State: Offensive grad assistant Angelo Mirando will coach the wide receivers through the Gator Bowl.

Sacramento State: Let us know what you are hearing. 

Colorado: We are hearing that grad assistants Bert Watts, Anthony Tucker, and Ben Steele have all been retained.

UL-Lafayette: Our sources tell us that Mark Hudspeth has hired Mississippi State defensive grad assistant Marcus Lovings as the new defensive line coach.
