Indianapolis Colts: We learned tonight that Mike Gillhamer will be named defensive backs coach for the Colts. Gillhamer coached the defensive backs at Illinois this past season under Ron Zook and coached the safeties for the Carolina Panters for seven seasons prior to that.

Huntingdon (D-III - AL): We learned today that Bryant University (FCS - RI) receivers coach Ben Fox has been hired in the same capacity at Huntingdon.

Oakland Raiders: Former Tulane offensive line coach Mark Hutson has accepted the tight ends job with the Raiders and former Eagles assistant Johnny Lynn will be named defensive backs coach according to reports from FoxSports. There has been word circulating all afternoon that Texas A&M defensive line coach Terrell Williams might wind up as the defensive line coach for the Raiders; however sources close to the team tell us tonight the deal is not done yet.

North Dakota State: Earlier this afternoon, head coach Craig Bohl promoted defensive backs coach Chris Klieman to defensive coordinator. This past season was Klieman's first at NDSU after coming over from Northern Iowa where he was defensive coordinator.

Indianapolis Colts: We hear the Colts have hired former Purdue defensive coordinator Gary Emmanuel as defensive line coach.

USC: We have confirmed that FAU defensive coordinator Marvin Sanders will join the USC staff as defensive backs coach. We have also heard from multiple sources that North Dakota State defensive coordinator Scottie Hazelton will be named linebackers coach. Update> We have confirmed both now.

Montana: As we told you several weeks ago, Robin Pflugrad has now officially promoted linebackers coach Ty Gregorak to defensive coordinator.

Seattle Seahawks: We hear University of San Diego offensive line coach Keith Carter has accepted a position with the Seahawks. Details to come...

Syracuse: Doug Marrone has announced that he plans to coach his special teams himself this season.

On Monday December 19th, we asked if anyone has noticed the job that North Dakota State defensive coordinator Scottie Hazelton has done (we threw in "Stellar!"). Apparently, someone other than us has noticed. We hear a rather impressive announcement is coming. We'll keep you posted.

Boston College: Sources tell us that University of Miami assistant director of football operations Sean Desai will be named special teams coordinator at Boston College.

Arkansas: We hear Ohio State grad assistant Ben Needham has accepted a graduate assistant job with the Razorbacks.

North Greenville (D-II): Sources tell us linebackers coach Brett Hickman has been elevated to defensive coordinator.
