Alabama: Late tonight we received word from multiple sources that Doug Nussmeier is expected to be named offensive coordinator at Alabama early this week. 

St. Louis Rams: Michael Lombardi is reporting that Jeff Fisher offered Brian Schottenheimer the offensive coordinator job. Lombardi reports that Schottenheimer is expected to accept. 

Alabama: There has been plenty of internet chatter out there about Washington offensive coordinator / quarterbacks caoch Doug Nussmeier as the next offensive coordinator at Alabama; but sources close to the program tell us that Nick Saban would also like to meet with Stanford offensive coordinator / quarterbacks coach Pep Hamilton. Not saying Nuss won't get the job; just saying as of this morning, Nick was still working the phones. 

Minnesota Vikings: We're told by sources close to the team that defensive coordinator Fred Pagac has been told he will not serve in that capacity next season. We hear he has been asked to remain as linebackers coach. 

St. Louis Rams: Several reports have New Orleans Saints defensive coordinator Gregg Williams leaving for the same role with the Rams. 

Nicholls State (FCS - Thibodaux, LA): Nicholls is currently seeking defensive line applicants. The position is available immediately. Arkansas State: We hear that Ryan Russell, assistant strength coach at Auburn, will be named head strength coach at Arkansas State. We also hear that former Memphis assistant Kenny Ingram will be named defensive line coach. 

Alabama: We have confirmed that Lance Thompson will leave Tennessee and return to Alabama. 

Western New Mexico: Fort Lewis College receivers coach Ryan Scherling has accepted the same position at Western New Mexico.

Colorado Mesa: We have learned that Nebraska Kearney offensive coordinator Russ Martin will be named head coach at Colorado Mesa.

Illinois: Reports out of Champaign say Cincinnati co-defensive coordinator Tim Banks will be named defensive coordinator at Illinois.

Arkansas: We have confirmed that Ohio State corners coach Taver Johnson is leaving to accept the co-defensive coordinator position on his good friend Paul Haynes' defense at Arkansas.

Fresno State: We have learned that Nevada offensive line coach Cameron Norcross (2011 FootballScoop Offensive Line Coach of the Year finalist) has been hired in the same capacity at Fresno State.

Houston: We have confirmed that DeSoto HS (TX) head coach Claude Mathis will become running backs coach at Houston. 

Tiffin: We hear Seth Duerr, defensive coordinator at the College of Wooster, is moving to Tiffin in the same role.

Atlanta Falcons: Dirk Koetter has been hired as offensive coordinator.
