Duke University: Tom Long hired as head video coordinator for football. Long, a former video assistant with the Washington Redskins, joins the Blue Devil program after working for XOS Technologies, Inc., in the technical support field. He is a 2004 graduate of Maryland where he served as a video assistant for football.

Ohio University: Ohio University has signed head coach Frank Solich to a five-year contract extension through 2013. The Bobcats finished 6-6 last season. Solich led the team to the GMAC Bowl the previous season.


Kenyon College: invites applications for the position of Assistant Football Coach. This is a 10-month reporting position with full benefits. Kenyon College, a highly selective liberal arts college of 1650 students, is a Division III member of the NCAA and is a founding member of the North Coast Athletic Conference. Kenyon offers twenty-two varsity sports, eleven for men and eleven for women. The college is located in the beautiful village of Gambier, 50 miles northeast of Columbus, Ohio. This individual will assist the head coach in the instruction of student athletes during practice and competition, recruiting and management of student-athletes, and attend various public relation activities and perform various administrative duties as dictated by the head coach. Must have a bachelor's degree, masters preferred. Travel in and out of state is required for scouting, recruiting and team travel. Must have a through understanding of a highly selective liberal arts institution that competes at the Division III level.
