JOB OPENING:

Western Connecticut State University: an NCAA Division III member, competing in the New Jersey Athletic Conference, invites applications for a part-time football intern coaching position. Duties will include recruiting, coaching a position, opponent scouting & video breakdown (LRS Sports), practice preparation, and other auxiliary duties as assigned. The review of applications will begin immediately. These positions will start immediately and continue until May 2009 with the possibility of an extension with satisfactory performance. Compensation for this position is commensurate with experience. Previous coaching experience, preferably at the intercollegiate level, is desirable. Must have knowledge and an understanding of NCAA rules/regulations for Division III Football. Highly developed organizational, managerial, and motivational skills are desired. Proficient computer skills including Excel, Word and Playmaker software as well as Internet knowledge as it relates to scouting and recruiting.
