Mississippi State: J.B. Grimes, Louis Campbell, Pat Washington, Brad Pendergrass will not be a part of Dan Mullen's new staff in Starkville.

Missouri: Quarterbacks coach David Yost has been promoted to offensive coordinator. Yost replaces Dave Christensen, who accepted the head coaching job at Wyoming.

North Dakota: Head coach Chris Mussman has agreed to a 2-year contract extension through 2012.

Southwestern Oklahoma State: We hear Santa Fe High School (OK) head coach Dan Cocanhour has been named new head coach at Southwestern Oklahoma State.

USC: Wide receivers coach / passing game coordinator John Morton has been promoted to offensive coordinator. We heard former USC assistant Carl Smith was on the sidelines during the USC / UCLA game. Smith is a candidate to coach the Trojan's quarterbacks.

Washington: Sources tell FootballScoop that USC graduate assistant Yogi Roth will coach the quarterbacks at UW.
