Ball State: Offensive coordinator Stan Parrish has been named head coach. Parrish replaces Brady Hoke, who accepted the head coaching job at San Diego State.

Eastern Michigan: Sources tell us that several candidates have turned down the job at Eastern Michigan. We hear EMU officials may now talk with Wayne State head coach Paul Winters.

Faulkner University (AL): Faulkner University (NAIA) is looking for a head coach.

Fordham University: Sources tell FootballScoop that both coordinator jobs are open.

Georgia Tech: Head coach Paul Johnson has a new 7-year contract.

Juniata: Carmen Felus has been named head football coach.

LSU: We hear that former Auburn assistant James Willis could end up in Baton Rouge. Sources tell us that UCLA defensive coordinator DeWayne Walker is interested in talking with Les Mile.

Syracuse: Former Clemson offensive coordinator Rob Spence has been hired at Syracuse in the same capacity.

USC: Secondary coach Rocky Seto has added the title of "assistant head coach for defense."

UT-San Antonio: UTSA would like to hire a head coach as quickly as possible. The Roadrunners will compete in D1-AA in 2011.

Washington: We hear Jacksonville Jaguars assistant Kennedy Pola will coach the running backs. We also hear the Detroit Lions assistant Scot Loeffler will coach the quarterbacks.

West Virginia Wesleyan: Denny Creehan has just been hired as the new head football coach.
