Illinois State: Head coach Brock Spack has hired Jay Peterson to coach the linebackers. Peterson previously served as defensive coordinator / linebackers coach at Eastern Michigan from 2004-2008. Peterson will also have the title of assistant head coach at Illinois State.

Notre Dame: We hear defensive line coach Jappy Oliver will not return.

NY Jets: We hear Jets special teams coach Mike Westhoff interviewed today.

Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology: Graduate Assistant Coaching Position, Rose-Hulman NCAA Div III (Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference) Located in Terre Haute, IN is accepting applications for a defensive graduate assistant, position to be determined. Thiel College: Football Coaching Intern Positions (2). Thiel College is seeking two qualified candidates to fill coaching intern positions for the football program. These positions report to the Head Football Coach and Athletic Director. Thiel College, a liberal arts college, is a member of the NCAA Division III. Candidates should have a commitment to the values, standards, and expectations of NCAA Division III, the Presidents' Athletic Conference, and Thiel College. Responsibilities for these 10-month positions include, but are not limited to: assisting in all aspects of coaching, planning and organization of practices, game day duties, recruiting and retaining student-athletes, and other assignments requested by the Head Coach and/or the Director of Athletics. These positions also require the duty of dorm manager on campus. A bachelor's degree and collegiate playing and/or coaching experience are required.
