Detroit Lions: Tennessee Titans defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz will be named head coach.

Eastern Michigan: As FootballScoop first reported, Appalachian State wide receivers coach Antonio Carter has officially joined the staff at Eastern Michigan. Carter will coach the wide receivers. Tom Burpee will coach the tight ends and special teams at EMU. Tim Carter will coach the defensive backs.

Green Bay Packers: Curtis Fuller will be named special teams assistant.

San DiegoState: Brian Sipe has been hired as quarterbacks coach. Sipe previously coach at the high school level in CA.

Southern Arkansas: We hear UAB defensive GA Jim Lawson will join the Southern Arkansas staff.


Henderson State: Department of Athletics (Football) Position: Assistant Coach for football, Offensive Line, HPER Instructor. Job Description: Various duties as assigned by the head football coach associated with operating a NCAA-II football program at the highest possible level. Duties will also include class instruction under the direction of the HPER Department. Qualifications: Master's degree and successful collegiate coaching experience. Preferred, at least 2 years as a full time offensive line coach at the collegiate level is preferred. Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience. The university: Henderson State University is Arkansas's Public Liberal Arts University and a member of the Council of Public Liberal Arts Colleges. The university is ranked in the top tier among "Best Universities - Masters in the South Region" in the 2008 edition of "America's Best Colleges" by U. S. News and World Report. Enrollment is about 3,600 students. Henderson is located in southwest Arkansas on Interstate 30 midway between LittleRock and Texarkana.
