Albany State: Our sources tell us that Delta State offensive line coach Steve Smith has accepted the offensive coordinator job at Albany State.

Middle Tennessee State: Former Auburn offensive coordinator Tony Franklin joined the MTSU staff as offensive coordinator.

Green Bay Packers: Scott McCurley has been added to the staff as defensive quality control assistant. Chad Morton joins the staff as a coaching administrator.

Kansas Wesleyan University: Our sources tell us offensive coordinator William Willie has resigned.

New Mexico State: Darrel Turner will serves as defensive GA. Brain Sheppard will serve as offensive GA. Jason Lenzmeir is the new offensive line coach. Dale Lindsey has been hired as assistant head coach / linebackers. Lindsey previously coach the linebackers at University of San Diego. Keith Murphy has been hired as wide receivers / special teams coach. Murphy previously served as offensive quality control / assistant special teams coach with St. Louis Rams. Mike Rutenberg will coach the safeties.

Oakland Raiders: The Raiders will remove the "interim" tag and name Tom Cable as head coach.

Ohio: Tight ends coach / recruiting coordinator Pete Germano will now coach the defensive line. Scott Isphording has been hired as recruiting coordinator / tight ends coach. Isphording previously served as the quarterbacks coach at Eastern Michigan.

Oregon State: Student assistant Daniel Drayton has been hired as defensive GA. Drayton replace Inoke Breckterfield, who now coaches the defensive line at Weber State.

Sacramento State: We hear former Boise State defensive graduate assistant Anthony Parker has been hired as defensive backs coach.

Tampa Bay Bucs: Former Washington Redskins quarterback Doug Williams has been promoted to coordinator of pro scouting. Williams has been on the Bucs' staff since 2004. Joe Bakers has been hired as defensive backs coach. Robert Nunn will serves as defensive line coach. We hear Nunn will coach the defensive line with Todd Wash.

Midland Lutheran College is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Assistant Football Coach - Defensive Secondary. This person will be responsible for coaching the defensive backs and will perform other duties as assigned by the Head Football Coach and/or Director of Athletics. Application deadline is February 20, 2009. The Assistant Football Coach position is a full time, 11 month position. Teaching responsibilities (8-12 credit hours per academic year) within the Human Performance curriculum may be required. Event Management/Facility Management responsibilities may also be required.
