Ball State: We hear the Kansas City Chiefs have offered Ball State assistant Pat Perles as position on the staff.
Cleveland Browns: Former Minnesota Gophers wide receiver coach George McDonald had accepted the offensive quality control positon.
Denver Broncos: Assistant general manager Brian Xanders has been promoted to general manager.
Iowa: Head coach Kirk Ferentz has agreed to a new 7-year contract.
Iowa State: We hear Ben Barkema will serve as offensive GA and Nick Caley will serve as defensive GA.

Kansas: Offensive coordinator Ed Warriner has added the title of associate head coach. Brandon Blaney has added the title of assistant offensive line coach.
LSU: Former Boston College tight ends / special teams coordinator Don Yanosky is joining the LSU staff as tight ends / recruiting coordinator. "Yano" is close friends with LSU assistant Larry Porter.
Wyoming: Former Wyoming video coordinator Jared Petrino will serve as defensive GA. As we reported over a month ago, former Missouri student assistant Brent Vernon has been announced as the offensive GA.

The University of Nebraska - Omaha: is currently accepting applications for a Graduate Assistant Football Coaching Position. The position is on the offensive side of the ball coaching the WR's. Valparaiso University: Located in Valparaiso, IN (50 miles from Chicago), a Division I-FCS institution and member of the Pioneer Football League is seeking a Graduate Assistant for the Defensive Secondary. Position includes coaching, recruiting, video editing and other duties as assigned by the Head Coach. Corner or Safety playing experience preferred. Experience with APEX System and Strength & Conditioning a plus. Candidates must be admissible to the Graduate School at Valparaiso University. Monthly stipend as well as tuition provided - 10 month position. Start date - August 1, 2009. Accepting resumes through February 28, 2009.
