Eastern Illinois: Former Eureka College coach Matt Smiley is the new special teams coach at Eastern Illinois. Before coach at Eureka, Smiley served as the special teams coordinator at Dartmouth.

Indiana State: FootballScoop learned last night that former Cincinnati and Notre Dame graduate assistant, Jesse Minter, has accepted the running backs job at Indiana State.

University of San Diego: FootballScoop has confirmed that offensive coordinator Todd Washington is taking part in the San Diego Chargers OTA internship program that will continue through part of training camp.

South Alabama: We hear the candidates for the athletic director position at South Alabama include Southeastern LA athletic director Joel Erdmann, Birmingham-Southern athletic director Joe Dean Jr., and Samford associate athletic director Jay Roberson.

Tennessee: We have learned that off-the-field graduate assistant Ryan Bollinger is now serving in the role of assistant to the head coach.
