San Bernardino Valley: FootballScoop is hearing that San Bernardino Valley College could be very close to naming Kevin Emerson as the new head football coach. Emerson was the head coach at Citrus College this past season.

UTEP: Former Midwestern State strength coach / wide receivers coach Justin Carrigan has joined the UTEP staff as a grad assistant.

JOB POSTING:

Kentucky Christian University: (NAIA, Mid-South Conference) Assistant Football Coach - Running Backs/Intern Position. Qualifications: A bachelor's degree; and, playing or coaching at the college level is preferred. Individual must possess strong communication skills, adequate computer skill, and the ability to function within a Christian environment. Position will include coaching, film breakdowns, scouting reports, editing, recruiting and other duties as assigned by the Offensive Coordinator and Head Football Coach. This is an entry level, ten month position, $5000 salary, room and board as compensation.
