Coaches Quick Hits

Tiffin University: Joe Nordin has joined the staff as a GA.

Edinboro: Matt Gillette has accepted the offensive line job. This is Gillette's second stint at Edinboro.

Bucknell: Former Iona defensive coordinator, Ed Lynett, will coach the safeties at Bucknell.

Northern Arizona: Linebackers coach Andy Thompson will indeed serve as the defensive coordinator this season. Thompson was promoted to interim defensive coordinator after Corey Batoon accepted the safeties job at Arkansas State. Also, former UNLV defensive graduate assistant, Andy LaRussa, is now coaching the defensive backs.

Pace University: Former El Camino College tight ends / wide receivers coach, Mike Corona, will coach the wide receivers at Pace University this fall.

United States Merchant Marine Academy: Dave Tatti will coach the inside linebackers and Keith Runne will coach the outside linebackers this season.

University of St. Francis (IL): Former Eastern Illinois student assistant, Matt Jones, has accepted the tight ends job under head coach Mike Uremovich at University of St. Francis.

Wesleyan (WV): Former Wesleyan head coach Bill Stuble has accepted the head coaching job at Buckhannon Upshur HS.

Gardner-Webb University: (NCAA DIV. 1 FCS) Immediate opening for Video Coordinator. Qualifications: Applicants should have bachelor's degree; football experience, either playing or coaching at the college level is preferred. Additionally, extensive computer skills, knowledge of video editing equipment (Webb Electronics Editing System), and the ability to breakdown game film is necessary. Job requirements will include all areas of video and film exchange as well as responsibilities for film breakdown, scouting reports, editing and other duties as assigned.
