Atlanta Falcons: Assistant head coach / secondary coach Emmitt Thomas will not return.

Louisville: We hear Charlie Strong talked with Mike Groh (Alabama offensive GA).

Cornell: We hear Cornell is interested in Penn State linebackers coach Ron Vanderlinden.

Chicago Bears: The Bears have interviewed Cincinnati Bengals quarterbacks coach Ken Zampese.

Tennessee: Kippy Brown has been named interim head coach.

FIU: We hear the FIU is down to Mike Canales, Scott Satterfield, JD Brookhart and one other for the OC job. We couldn't find out the last candidate.

USC: Lane Kiffin has been named the new head coach. He's bringing Monte and Ed Orgeron. ESPN is now also reporting Norm Chow is likely heading back the SC. They are trying to finalize a deal right now.

Washington Redskins: Jim Haslett has accepted the defensive coordinator position.

Houston Texans: Rick Dennison has been hired as offensive coordinator.

Bobby April: Veteran special teams coordinator Bobby April has interview with Pittsburgh and San Francisco. The Redskins are interested as well.

Cincinnati: Our sources tell us Notre Dame grad assistant Brian White is leaving to join Butch Jones' staff at Cincy in the same capacity.

Texas Tech: We heard Mississippi State running backs coach Greg Knox has an offer to join Tuberville's staff in Lubbock. James Willis (Alabama inside linebackers) is expected to be announced as the defensive coordinator.

Memphis: We hear Memphis is interviewing another OL candidate tonight.

UT-Martin: Our sources tell us former Pikeville head coach Mac Bryan has been offered the offensive line job at UT-Martin.

Virginia: Cadillac Harris (Indian River HS) has accepted an offensive position at UVA. We heard it will probably end up being tight ends.

Shepherd University: We are hearing Ernie McCook is leaving Liberty to join the Shepherd staff.

Colorado State: Marc Lubick was officially promoted to recruiting coordinator.

Louisville: Dave Borbely is joining the staff as offensive line coach.

Akron: Curt Mallory accepted the DC position.

Furman: We hear Lenoir-Rhyme assistant Brian Hill accepted the DL job.

Youngstown State: Despite a report, we hear Paul Soltis has not joined the YSU staff at this point.

UTEP: Osia Lewis will not return as DC.

USC: Del Rio is staying at Jacksonville. ESPN is reporting Steve Mariucci has talked with USC.

Seattle Seahawks: Alex Gibbs is going to Seattle.

Syracuse: Rob Moore accepted the wide receivers job.

Texas Tech: Neal Brown accepted the OC position.

Fordham: We hear the UCONN grad assistant is going to Fordham.

Southern Miss: Our sources tell us Fedora talked to Mike Canales this morning.

Seattle Seahawks: Dwayne Walker is leaving New Mexico State and going to Seattle. We reported a few nights ago that Pete Carroll offered a nice salary to lure Walker.

Georgia Southern: FootballScoop has learned that GSU has hired Northwestern State defensive line coach Sean Quinn.

Central Michigan: We hear Dan Enos has not yet hired anyone.

Michigan State: We were told this morning by someone close to the situation that Dantonio already had his guy for the running backs job.

Mississippi State: Rivals is reporting Rick Minter will interview for the Mississippi State DC position.

Memphis: We hear strength coach Matt Parker is leaving to return to TCU.

Marshall: We hear former Rutgers assistant Chris Rippon interviewed with Doc Holliday regarding the DC position.

Louisville: We hear Charlie Strong interviewed Ron Dugans for the wide receivers job. Dugans coached the wide receivers at Georgia Southern this past season.

Toledo: Our sources tell us Toledo interviewed a couple of guys here in Orlando. We hear it will be either running backs or tight ends / special teams. We were told to expect slot receivers coach Jason Candle to move to outside receivers.

Memphis: Memphis has yet to hire an offensive line coach. Our source tells us Larry Porter had interest in Bowling Green offensive line coach John McDonnell. We heard Porter talked with local Memphis high school coach Blake Butler (former Memphis player). We also heard Porter had great interest in Utah's Blake Miller. Our source tells us it's possible that none of the names mentioned above actually lands the job.

Texas A&M: Rivals is reporting Rick Minter interviewed for the DC position at A&M.

USC: There is a report in the LA Daily News that USC has sent Jack Del Rio a contract.

Akron: There is a report that Curt Mallory (Illinois assistant) will accept the Akron defensive coordinator job.

Miami Dolphins: Paul Pasqualoni will not return as defensive coordinator.

Arkansas: We are hearing Arkansas interviewed Idaho offensive line coach Dan Finn, who coached Outland finalist Mike Iupati for the offensive line job.
